I ordered this for my 3 year old niece for Christmas, worried it would be too big for her or flimsy. Nope! I ordered the silver one and it's pretty sturdy (definitely won't last indefinitely, but at least a couple months if not a few years worth, which is more than I expect for an $8 tiara. It's also the perfect size for her. I don't know how there are so many pictures of adults wearing this. It is definitely child sized, the perfect size for my pre-school aged niece actually. I'm really happy with it, but you might not be if you're buying for anyone over the age of 12.
