Beautiful graphics and Doraemon
Doraemon is my favourite manga character since Childhood and I am now in my 50s. This is the reason I bought the game and my first time playing a role playing video game. However, Doraemon doesn’t do much in the game , maybe I am still at the early stage of the game. Noby does all the work, such as farming, fishing, mining, collecting bugs, plants, flowers, seashells and looking after the animals. Each task successfully completed can be exchanged for points allowing him to buy tools, seeds and things he needs for his house and the farm. He also interacts with his friends and other characters in the game and attends various festivals. There are four seasons in the game and the water colour graphics are beautiful with calming background music. However, the dialogues amongst characters are repetitive and long. Some of them don’t really make sense may be due to translation. The tasks Noby have to do are also repetitive and some people may find the game boring. There are subplots in the game every so often and I think the goal of the game is for all the characters to be able to return home . I have yet to play my way through the game to find out how.I play with my daughter and we both enjoy the game. For me is because of Doraemon and the repetitive tasks in the game help to relieve my stress and my daughter likes the cuteness of the characters.

Demo was promising but actual game is long chore
I've brought this game from playing the demo as I have enjoyed Story of seasons series in the past. I love the watercolour graphics similar to Pokemon Mystery dungeon. Unfortunately as I progressed further in the game there was noticable flaws, progress is extremely slow as crop seeds as season locked with further variety in second year. Nobita moves so slowly even with anydoor unlocked but another gadget makes travelling little bit easier. I didn't really use the horse even with stable built, on the building takes longer than what is suggested the NPC works on days he actively working. For example house extension takes 7 days in reality is about 10-12 days. You do organise days to mine ores and do farm work. Nobita makes noises when he cuts wood or do anything which is annoying but less when tool is upgraded. In Winter things slow down but good time for mining just load up inventory with food. The button for action is same often eating eggs, milk by accident I may sure to cycle tools first. The story is charming and takes raise hearts with villagers. Nobita has really obnoxious friends who treats him as a slave. I haven't watched much of Doraemon this game is far the fans or curious. I just quit when storyline was completed and when Story of Seasons Pioneers of Olive town came out. Alot of people say Friends of Mineral town is better. Suggestion to unlock the Mill, buy flour from Cafe Delish if in season and make bread in the kitchen to ship out as better profit. Playstation version has option to split items this is missing on the Switch. There is patch to make acquiring fishes since fishing even with bait is slow.

Beautiful game but with some issues
This is a beautiful looking game, similar play along the lines of other “farming” games however it does have time constraints (day to night to day) which I find means it’s not really possible to farm and do all the other things expected in one day. I’ve also had a few crashes which has been disappointing. But the story mode is pretty nice and there is quite often a lot happening bad side stories being introduced.
