Is this the official s pen for the tab s4 from samsung, or is it a 3rd party product?

I don't know if it is a 3rd party or not, but I have purchased 3 pens from Amazon over the last couple of years and they have all worked great with my tab s4 tablet.

What does the C type adapter do? Does thebs pen work without the C adaptor?

The adaptor allows you plug in an USB connector to any device that has a type c connection and the pen is independent of this connector so yes the pen works with out the connector

How is the pressure sensitivity?

It works as well as the original.
