Jumper Cables with a Case - The Quick and Effective 12 Foot Long Booster Cable for Cars

These cables did not work to jump my car. I had a clearly dead battery after returning to my car in the airport parking lot after a 10 day trip. Someone tried jumping my car with these, and we waited about 10 minutes for the battery to charge and the engine wouldn't even turn over. The person jumping my car had cables, so we swapped these for his cables and the car started right away. DO NOT BUY THESE. Maybe they'll work on a motorcycle or something, but not a car. I have a 2007 Yaris and I don't imagine the starter needs a whole ton of juice.

The wires are relatively thin, and take several minutes longer to charge than higher quality cables. The grips of the clips slip off easily - you must use them carefully to ensure they stay on! It gets 3 stars because it technically did work, but I would've been happier spending more money for a higher quality product that charged faster (I was worried my battery actually hadn't run out) and had decent grips.

I bought these in 2015 and finally needed to use them today in 2018. THEY DON'T WORK! The mechanic that came afterwards said these are too thin to start a car properly, and that the company only sell them to people hoping they'll never use them and by the time they finally need them, it's too late for a refund. All the 5 star reviews are from people who never used them but saying the packaging looks nice, never used them, fits nicely inside their car, useless misleading reviews! Spend more money on higher quality, thicker cables.

These are "cost effective" cables and you get what you pay for. If you're looking for a set of emergency use only jumper cables...these fit the bill. If you plan to use them more than once or twice...I'd suggest buying something a bit more robust.For me, these are for emergencies and I'm happy enough with them. I would buy again.

I can't give them 5 stars because I haven't had occasion to use them yet, as it is with emergency equipment, but they seem to be good quality, came in a nice case, so they don't take up very much room in my organizer of road gear, and the seller was nice enough to send a PDF with instructions. Which, if you'd never used jumper cables would be very handy, and safe. Nice product, good seller.

I ordered 2 of these to give as Christmas gifts for my teenagers. They are just as you would expect. Great tools to have on hand in an emergency. The bag they are in is nice size to store in a trunk or under a seat.They are a great price.Overall I am happy with this purchase.

These are VERY compact and will not take much space at all in your trunk. And for the price you can't go wrong. Yes they're not "industrial" quality, however, in a pinch......they will get the job done, which, let's face it, is simply what MOST of us will ever need. Again, cheap, compact, great to have in your trunk!

The plastic holders around the metal handles come off easily, other wise a good cable.
