You can do everything with this cup!
I had a Sierra Cup for over 25 years of outdoor recreation and backpacking use - since I was in my twenties. Having lost it a few years back, and recently in need of a replacement, I was grateful to find it was still being produced. The price on Amazon was amazingly low, around $7.50. I remember paying something like $5 for it at REI twenty or so years ago. You can do everything with this cup. You can cook in it over a camp stove, eat from it, drink from it, wash utensils, I've even used it to dig out a snow cave. This is the swiss army knife of camping tools. It's worth every penny. Once you start using one, you use it for EVERYTHING. It was such a good deal, I bought TWO.

I kind of like that: ) Seems sturdy
Shiny compared to my other Sierra Cup, I kind of like that :) Seems sturdy, has a fixed handle. Plan to get a lot of use out of it while camping. Some might think it to be on the small side, but it's a serving size and you can always re-fill it. This size is easier to "sump" prior to washing in the back country.

Solidly made and easy on the wallet
I bought this for scooping wood pellets into my table-top Solo stove. It works great for that. I was surprised by how well made this thing is. It would be perfect for camping. Can't say how susceptible it is or not to rust but, for the price, it wouldn't hurt to try it on a couple of outings and see how it does. I grew up using cups just like this on canoeing trips. This was much better than I expected. Buy with confidence.

Great cup for the money
Great for having hot drink and easily washed. Would not take it backpacking or hiking since weighs much more than a much more expensive titanium versions, but OK for taking to ski area in a lunch bag left in lodge - great for making tea in lodge-supplied boiling water. The volume markings stamped into side could hold bacteria if not properly washed, and are essentially useless, but not enough to make it a great, cheap cup. Had to use needle nose pliers to crimp exposed tiny sharp corners where body of cup is crimped around wire which extends out for handle, but easily done and not a reason not to buy it. These things caused me to give it only 4 stars.

It holds all the liquids
These kinds of cups are must-have's if you go camping regularly. The handle keeps your hands far enough away from the cup (and disperses heat well) so you don't get burned trying to hold your coffee/cocoa. I like the measurement marks and overall size. Not really sure what else to say. It's a cup. It holds liquids. If you spill those liquids on yourself then it's probably user error.

My metal cup
Perfectly described, works as expected.

Like the ones I grew up with in childhood
Solid and well-made. the "4 oz/6 oz/8 oz." designation on the side may come in handy as an emergency guide. I do like the question here about the "warmth" of these Sierra cups meant for camp food--not really the same as a sleeping bag. I'm guessing "warmth" means "warmth retention," but these are the same size and weight as the original, and so should hold the warmth of the food as expected.

Like old Sierra Cup from the 60's
I bought this for an upcoming wilderness trip. Wanted a Sierra cup like I used to use many many years ago. While the size and shape is identical to the old style ones, the metal has sharp edges near the handle. Will have to cover with tape to keep from getting cut. I do like that it has marks for measuring, and it arrived on time.
