What are the front blades for they not working just back ones?

Not sure I understand the question; each fan has one set of blades, but the direction is reversible. The two fans can be set to blow outside in, inside out, or one fan blowing in and one blowing out.

What's the exact height of this unit excluding the arch and legs? Someone said 10 1/2 inch, another said 11 3/4.

Dear friend, JPOWER window fan carrying two removable sturdy legs. The height of the fan without the feet is about 10.5 inches. The heigh of the fan including the legs is 11.34 inches. Thanks.

When using the thermostat feature, Is the fan supposed to come on at high speed every time? It's set at low speed but in the morning it comes on high

That is my experience. Also, the fan response to the thermostat setting is about +- 5 degrees from the set temperature to change the fan operation. Not very accurate, but maybe somewhat useful if you set it to compensate for this difference. I would have liked it if they put the thermostat in the remote.
