It broke but I glued it and am still using it
Used it, broke it, Super glued it, still using it.Update: 09/19/2019 Still using it daily!Update 10/18/2022 String finally Broke. 7 years of constant use.

Not terrible but wouldn't buy again.
I expected something a little better for the price so my review reflects the price and the quality of the item itself. Average reel, doesn't work well with more than 2 cards which probably disappoints me the most. Another thing that ties in with the reel is the "no-twist" aspect of the badge holder, since the reel isn't all to great, i still experience a twist. Also, the "no-twist" design isn't that great either as the shape makes it still easy to twist since the main thing holding it in is the reel. However it still reduces the amount of twists significantly.The alligator clip works well if the clip is facing down like on top of a polo shirt pocket however if it's upside down like on a shirt collar or something it pulls off easily.Again, I've had worse and it's better than the free ones i can get at work... I was just hoping for something a little better for $4.99

Sturdy clip
I do love this. I wish it was a bit lighter. The clip keeps it secured well! Unfortunately, the Elastic/string part only lasts a few months or so but I'd assume people don't use it as much as i do and it would probably last much longer for most people.

works to keep badge pointing forward.
Keeps the badge from turning backwards. Security is happy about that. Not fond of the graphic, had to cover up with a label I had created.

Giant logo on the front of the product...
Just received my today. Overall the product functions as I expected. Basic swivel alligator clip. The design keeps the front of my badge facing forward. My biggest disappointment is the huge logo printed on the front of the product. I'm not looking to be a walking advertisement for these folks and when you're in a suit and tie this just looks ridiculous clipped to your lapel. People look and think you work for SPID, Inc. I'll be looking for something to try to cover this up.
