CompTIA Network+ N10-005 Exam Cram

This book is an excellent book, I crammed over this past week (13 Oct 2014-17 Oct 2014) Took the test today and I passed. One thing that caught me on the test was the simulations they had. However, each simulation, although they had multiple answers to them only represented as one question. The rest of the test was multiple choice. The only improvement to the CD of this book I would include would be the computer/network simulations. Tips: -If you've been in the IT field for any period of time, this book is good to go over before taking the test. -If your new to the IT industry, you may want to read more in depth. I've gained a lot of my skills by being in the IT field for a while now, this book is good. As far as IP addresses class and Subnetting goes, go to youtube, there are some people with excellent ways of explaining it.

I purchased this book a week or so before to "cram" for the exam. I did not read the entire book but the layout made it perfect for my objective. I skimmed through reading the beginning section to each chapter which is basically " if you can't answer these questions without multiple choices then read this chapter. and that is what I did. I also marked questions that I didn't know the answer to in the practice test section and reviewed the exam objective it was meant to cover. I took only this with me to really cram right before the exam. The book was the perfect supplement to my all in one guide, app store test engine and experience. I can't say if it is all that you need, though the objectives were covered well and the questions helped a lot. I would recommend it to even someone who is acing other practice tests Etc.

I purchased this book in order to supplement my Network+ N10-005 exam studies. This is a great book that includes a lot of information that one needs to know in order to master the Network+ exam objectives. The layout of the book is very good, and I enjoyed the ExamAlert boxes scattered throughout the text that alerted the reader to very important topics, terms, or concepts that were very likely to appear on the actual Network+ exam. I also enjoyed the review questions scattered throughout each chapter. These came in handy because one could read a section and then answer the review questions to see if you learned the concepts presented in that section. Also, this Exam Cram book includes two 100 question practice tests in the last section of the book. This is largely why I purchased this book; I wanted more practice tests. The Exam Cram book also includes a CD with practice test software on it. This is also why I purchased this book; I knew it had practice tests in the book and practice tests on the included CD. Long story short, I discovered that the practice tests on the included CD looked to be identical to those in the book. I was very disappointed by this and felt that this should be communicated upfront. This is why I deducted one star. However, I did find the book to be helpful and the two 100 question practice tests were great. I also purchased and studied the CompTIA Network+ Certification Kit Recommended Courseware: Exam N10-005 by Todd Lammle. I studied this Kit first and purchased the Exam Cram book afterwards in order to review more for the Network+ exam (the test is expensive and I wanted to make sure I passed it the first time I took it). I also purchased the CompTIA Network+ N10-005 Exam Prep app for iPhone by learnZapp. This app had a lot more practice questions, and I feel that taking a lot of practice tests is a good way to ensure that you are ready for the actual certification exam. Overall, the Exam Cram book is a great Network+ study guide. The formatting of the book is very good, as are the topics and concepts covered. It is not quite as in-depth as other Study Guides, but it is only meant to be a book that covers Network+ essentials. All in all, it does that very well. It is a great book to use as a final review before taking the actual Network+ exam, and the included practice tests are well worth the money. I only wish it included different practice tests on the CD. By the way, I passed my Network+ exam a few days ago!

Purchased this book to study for my Network+ exam, and it includes everything that a person needs to know for the exam.

I bought this book to prepare for the CompTIA Network+ Exam and I passed the exam! I also paired this book with the CompTIA Network+ N10-005 Authorized Cert Guide by Kevin Wallace. Both books were outstanding. This book was easy to read and the concepts flowed through. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to take the CompTIA Network+ exam. Just read the book about two times, memorize the concepts, do the practice tests, and that should be enough to pass the exam! Good luck!

These books have a great layout that is easy to follow. Each section follows a part of the certification exam objective list. After each section there is a practice test on the subject matter covered great to see if you really understand what you read. The way the books are written is easy to follow and don't make you feel as though you aren't good enough yet. Great way to study for your exams.

This book was really, really useful in helping me pass my Network+. Despite being over 500 pages long it was really easy reading and helped me secure the knowledge I already had. This book would be less helpful if you were starting from scratch as it doesn't ever go into too much detail but it is great at helping you make sure you have a working knowledge of the main topics.
