I installed these on our 43' fifth wheel with a rear drop frame, meaning the rear 12-15 feet or so are about 12" lower than the front portion of the frame (to accommodate the bedroom and loft, if you're wondering). Anyway, the drop frame causes frequent contact with the rear bumper and ground even on fairly nominal grades. I installed these to protect the bumper.The install was easy. They seem medium-duty; I definitely wouldn't classify them as heavy duty. The rubber on the wheels has to be the most questionable. I suspect that making contact even at 25-35mph will really wear the wheels down, but I could be wrong. I did trade out the included bolts with some thicker, heavier steel bolts. Added washers, loctite and a locking nut.The wheels themselves spin well and the pivoting portion also spins well. There are no instructions, but considering how exposed the bearings are, I'd recommend greasing these things at least every other trip. On the highway, those ball bearings will get filthy fast.Literally the first pull after installing them, the wheels made contact twice, both times going 10mph or less. They held up fine in these conditions. They definitely spun, both the wheel motion and the pivoting as the rig turned.We have about another 13 trips this year. We'll know by the end of it how sturdy they really are.Will add pictures soon.

Looked at a lot of options to keep the tail of my Minnie Winnie RV from dragging. I have a step driveway and was dragging the stabilizer going up the hill. Eventually removed the stabilizers and added these wheels to the receiver. Installation was relatively easy. Now when I go up drive even with a full load of fuel and water the wheels keep the rear end of the rig off of the asphalt. Greased them per directions and so far they are working as designed. Let me park rig at home saving money and making travel prep much easier.

I purchased the Hitch Bar Mount Skid Wheel to assist my Class C motor home in climbing up my steep driveway. It took several hours to install the skid wheels because of interference of other things and the tight space I had to work in, but once I got them attached, the 25 foot E350 easily climbed the incline without the tail dragging. Now I no longer need to keep the RV in a storage unit, saving me thousands in storage fees.

We put these on the back of our rv to help the back not scrape coming out if the driveway. They seemed very string. The first time they touched down on the driveway they shattered and dragged, causing damage to our driveway. Do not get these if you plan on them supporting any type of weight

They have a great idea, now they just need to beef up the product. I try to let the wheels touch the ground as easy as possible. One gas station driveway surprised me and I hit it harder. Bang, the hub on one of the wheels shattered. All they need to do is re-tool the wheel with a stronger hub and the problem would be solved. Bought two more so I could replace the shattered one and have a spare. Hope they listen.

I bought these with the intention to use on my camper when hitting low areas and reduce the dragging.The first impact with the road and it burst at the rim of the wheel. Immediately useless when putting heavy weight against it.

After 11 months, the wheels are rusting horribly. Started after only a few months.See photo. The bracket is not rusting.
