works great
At my camp, did't matter if it was summer or winter, toilet would sweat. This went on for ten years. Can't tell you how many plumbers didn't know the answer to correct this.Looked on you tube, and heard everything from insulating inside of tank to insulating outside of tank.Happened to read an article about this valve. No plumbing supply house that I called had this part.Figured for the price, give it a try. The pex fittings were more than the part.Took about an hour to pipe in,but it solved the problem.Toilet hasn't sweat since

Why did I wait so long
I have been replacing the Berber Carpet tiles behind my toilet a few times a year for Fifteen years because they are damp and stink from tank and bowl sweating. This is a well made thought out valve. The check valves that are built in stop the back feeding from the hot pipe to the cold pipe and vice versa . Easy to adjust the proper amount of hot to be added with the turn of a screw. With a few dollars of CPVC fitting and pipe it was a easy install. I have a ventless heater so my humidity is high all year around so this is a must have . Great product and as usual great service from Amazon.

Get this if your tank is sweating and be done with it.
This fixed my toilet tank sweating issue immediately. It's been installed one month now and is working great. NPT threads are great. Makes it easy to go to Pex. Simply get 3 half inch pipe thread to Pex fittings and you are set. Two plumbers and the hardware store guy all said this would not work but it did! This is pipe thread regardless of what anyone else tells you. I did not adjust the mix valve as water in my tank comes in around 65 degrees which prevents sweating even after a steamy hot shower. This is the answer to a sweating toilet tank.

Long fill time
Works as promised but the advertised "Built-in check valves [which] prevent hot and cold water cross connection" will reduce the pressure to the toilet fill valve and cause the fill time to double. Normal fill time was previously 1.5 minutes. After valve installation it was 3 minutes. The fill time can be reduced to 2 minutes by removing the check valves and increasing the drilled holes to 3/32 inch. The original holes were 5/64 inch.

Works Great, be easy with the screw adjustment
Our toilet tank was sweating all year around because our bathroom is a hot room and the toilet water was very cold. I looked into different ways to fix the problem and this was the easiest and cheapest. I just hooked up "Shark Bite" fittings SharkBite U308LFA 1/2-Inch by 1/2-Inch FNPT SharkBite Lead Free Elbow and SharkBite U072LFA 1/2-Inch by 1/2-Inch FNPT SharkBite Lead Free Straight Connector to the inlets and outlet and plugged everything together. I have 1/2 copper pipes to my bathroom so everything fit together nicely. The alternative if this didn't work was to either insulate the tank or use a fish tank heater, and this was a much better and more permanent solution.Update: After adjusting the temp only a couple of times, one ear of the screw adjustment broke. I wasn't even turning it very hard. It still adjusted with a pair of plies after it broke but it must be mentioned.

Much cheaper than the alternatives I found and did a perfect job
Bought two to solve excessive toilet tank condensation. They are well made. I had to unscrew the hot mixer probably 3 revolutions to achieve a lukewarm water mix. I installed them hanging inline in a PEX plumbing system (no brackets or supports). No leaks. I used 3-5 wraps of yellow blue hawk PTFE tape and a bit of rector seal pipe dope on top of the tape for a 100% leak proof seal every time.

Works great so far
This mixing valve completely solved the problem of my mom’s sweaty toilet tank, which produced so much dripping the floor was close to being ruined. I was able to connect this without any major plumbing work, by using the hot water supply in the adjacent sink vanity, and installing three new flexible supply lines. I replaced the standard hot shutoff valve under the sink with a tee valve (two valved outlets), one outlet connecting to the sink faucet, and the other heading through a hole drilled in the vanity sidewall to the mixing valve. Input cold water comes from the original toilet shutoff valve. Output goes to the toilet tank. I put the adjustment screw halfway between full open and closed, and that seems to work well. The mixing valve is enclosed in a 6x6 square electrical junction box, spray painted to match the decor, attached to the bathroom wall near the bottom of the tank. I wish I had known about this solution years ago! The brass seems good quality. The 1/2” threaded male ports are clean and smooth, and mated with the 1/2” female fittings on the supply lines perfectly.

If you have a sweaty toilet, BUY THIS!
Awesome product, it solved our sweating toilet problem during humid days. Easy install and love how you can control how much hot water flow you want. In the winter you can completely shut off the hot water and save some $$
