Cheap and cheerful. Just don't expect the local Odeon in your sitting room.
***UPDATE***I am so impressed with this projector that I have since purchased a second one***************I was looking for a projector to create hologram window displays for Halloween and Christmas. I didn't want to pay a lot for a projector for such a limited use, so cheap and cheerful was the order of the day. The projector choice on Amazon is a minefield. Many claim features which, for the money, seem ridiculous. But of them all, the Apeman LC350 stuck out. This projector seems to be a rebranded generic Chinese model. It is advertised as having a lumens (lamp brightness) figure of 4500, which should be pretty bright. And the quoted lamp life of 50,000 hours should mean it outlast its owner. But at the time of purchase this supplier had a 20% off promotion, bringing the price down to £55. And if it didn't live up to the hype I could always return it for a refund.I went for this particular bundle as it includes a soft storage bag. This was important to me as it will be sitting on a shelf in our garage gathering dust between uses. Or rather, that was the idea. Then it arrived...On unboxing the projector my first impressions were that it is a lot smaller than I imagined, and it is also very easy on the eye. So I wouldn't have to find a hiding place for it when its in use. It comes packaged with a 2 pin power cable with UK plug (big plus point), HDMI cable, AV cable, and remote control. The 2 pin power lead means the power transformer is built in to the projector casing, so it needs a fan to get rid of all that heat generated by the transformer. But it also means there are no fragile power adapter cables.Connections for displaying media are plentiful, and I'm impressed by the selection in such a low priced device. It comes with a Micro SD slot, USB A connection, HDMI input, AV input and VGA (PC) input. I've had a chance to check out both the Micro SD and USB connections and both work perfectly. They both support NTFS format, so file sizes over 4.5gb will play. I was a bit annoyed to find that multi-channel audio is not supported, even as mixed-down to stereo. At first I thought the sound on the projector wasn't working and was getting ready to return it for a replacement. But then I saw the supported format types and, after sourcing a suitable file, I can confirm that it is working ok. The sound is ok, bright but not overly so, but with very little bass. I would've liked to have multi-channel mix-down, and audio output to run to a powered speaker. But at this price I can't really complain.Picture quality, on the other hand, is very good. From around 20 feet away and with the lights turned off, the picture more than fills my 13ft wide wall. It is bright and colourful, and playing with the brightness and contrast controls produces a more than adequate black level. It was never going to be pitch black though. And I'm not complaining. How it would perform in daylight conditions though, I'm not entirely convinced. The lens adjustment is purely for focus. And when it is properly focused the picture is really sharp, with a lot of edge detail. Sharpness can also be adjusted in the menu. There is no throw adjustment here. If you want to reduce or increase the size of the picture, the projector needs to be moved forward or backward accordingly. There is also a simple keystone adjustment for when the projector isn't quite level with the centre of the screen. So basically, thats it. The Apeman LC350 certainly isn't going to turn home cinema on its head. There are projectors out there which do a hell of a lot more, with a hell of a lot more features (3D, 4K, DLP etc), but at a hell of a higher price. But if you are looking for something for window displays, maybe have a few friends over to watch a movie and create a bit of a cinema experience, or maybe for gaming (I don't game so I'm not sure if this would be suitable) you could do a lot worse, I'm sure. All in all, it is cheap. And it certainly IS cheerful.

Fantastic gift for ur family member!!!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. My bday girl she is over the moon!!! I got this projector for her birthday present, honestly compared with more professional one or more expensive product, I m not sure how this projector is doing, but decent price was on sale as well, really pleased!!! We tried it with amazon fire sticker, and absolutely brilliant!!!! We all love it, of coz especially my daughter! The picture quality is good for me, the sounds can’t say fabulous but acceptable, another good point is the compact size with well packed package bag, really convenient if u would like to carry with u on holiday! Great stuff, defo recommended for family use. Only one thing but is not big issue that is the len’s cap not very matched with it, maybe in the future, new upgraded version could think about making it more suitable, otherwise everything is brilliant!! I can’t wait to order one more as Xmas gift for this year!

apeman LC350 HDMI Projector
I bought this projector with an open mind having never owned one before and not expecting too much considering the cheap price and the product being at the lower end of the projector market, I would also like to point out that there were a few negative reviews on amazon about this product relating to some people not been able to play certain programs like Netflix through this projector leading people to believe there is some kind of HDMI handshake security issue. Since receiving my new projector i have conducted the following inspection and tests and these are my results. The product itself appears to be very well made and does not feel cheap despite its price. It comes with all the relevant leads, hdmi, power lead, and an external audio lead should you wish to use it although the internal audio was more than sufficient, Picture quality is brilliant in a dark or darkened room but not so great in a really bright room but still watchable, out of 10 and 10 being the best in the dark it is definitely a 10 but in the daytime i would rate the picture has an 8.Test 1: ( Now Tv Stick ) The following all work without any issues.NetflixPluto tvNow tv live channelsYoutubeBBC iplayerVevoITV playerRoku channelDisney plusUK TV play.Test 2: Sky Q box ( All of the following play without any issues )Disney plusBBC iplayerNetflixyoutubelive Sky Channels ( all of the following work without any problems )Movie channelsdocumentarieschildren's channelsMusic ChannelsTest 3: DVD PlayerI was able to play both region 1 and 2 Dvds without any issues.Overall i feel this is an excellent projector for the money and taking into account it is on the lower end of the projector market.
