Womens Clarks Wave.Hiker

I'm not sure how to rate these shoes. They fit as expected - that is, as is often the case for me, the 11 was too large, and the 10 was too small, and I had to choose because the shoe doesn't come in 10.5! I bought the 11 anyway, and did my best not to trip over the extra shoe length. As for comfort, I had to wear them all day because I was traveling, but I can't say they were super comfortable. I have an old pair of "wave walkers" which are far more comfortable and easy to wear forever, but these have have stiffer sole and a more square heel, so the shoe doesn't roll with each footstep. My legs got tired because of the jerky movement caused by the heel. The shoes are okay, but I wish Clarks still made the older version.

Not sure if the black toe is leather...but do not know that it is not.I love Clarks, and was sure that the size would be right, but the were very tight. I debated sending them back, but I hate shipping.Someone told me to put them on and stand in water then wear them until they dried....It worked! I get compliments on the shoes and they are good non-pavement walking shoes.

This is my second pair of Clarks Wave shoes. I got my first pair for an extended trip in Paris and London where I walked 6 or 7 miles a day (without having broken the shoes in). They never hurt at all and my feet were very comfortable plus they accommodated my orthotics. The hikers work the same and feel very comfortable. I haven't done any hiking in them so I don't know if I'll have an issue with the ankle height like others have. I did notice that if I skipped the last eyelet, they didn't seem to rub.

I had high hopes for these boots based on the reviews. I ordered the 7.5W and I don't have a particularly wide foot (I often wear standard width) and I found these to be not much wider than a standard width. In addition, the height of the boot is weird - with the laces done all the way up (which is how I planned to wear them, for the extra ankle support), the inside of the boot hit me right below my medial malleolus on both feet. It was actually quite uncomfortable to walk in them in my house with the pressure and rubbing. Unfortunately I don't think this is something that will "break in" and I'm not going to take the risk on such an expensive shoe. Other than that, the boot was comfortable and able to accommodate my orthotics. I will probably just have to go with the Wave shoe version instead, but I'm super disappointed b/c I really liked the look of these.

I got this pair for my Aunt. She has hammer toes and we got the M size. We should have gotten the Wide. However, there was none available in 8. Only 8 1/2. Disappointing because of the price. Otherwise they would be a perfect fit. My shoes I purchased in 8 1/2 was perfect for me.

I wish Clarks' would bring this style back. I would order another pair in a snap! I have a narrow foot and am excited to find a light weight hiker that fits and fits well!! If you don't have narrow feet, you have no idea how difficult it is to find attractive footwear that fits. This boot will be perfect for multiple upcoming trips with city and mountain destinations.

These were comfortable the minute I put them on and the comfort lasted all day. I wear them with orthotics and the support of the foot bed is rigid in the arch and heel areas and flexible in the toes. These have become my rain boots since they are waterproof and rubber rain boots do not provide enough foot support for me. I haven't worn them in a downpour yet but in light rain so far so good. Good breathability.

God, I love these.I have tried out several different brands of sneaks and hikers over the years for walking. Some (I like Saucony, not so keen on Merrell) we're leasing more than others.On a whim I purchased these babies and my sneaks are now beginning to gather dust in the closet.They are beyond comfortable to walk in, hike in, work in.Well made, and designed. A worthwhile purchase and find in my book, and therefore Highly recommended as well.
