Pin Art - 6 X 8 inch, Metal Pins

I can't really blame the manufacturers, or can I? I took this overseas as a gift for my nephew. It drew the attention of the people that rifle through your luggage on international trips. The clever people that thought it was an incendiary device were smart enough to open the box, and apparently, to deconstruct the apparatus without looking at the box, reading the blurb, or understanding its true purpose. That was when I guess they realized that when you remove certain connecting pieces, all the pins come out. Once the pins come out, they do not go back in again with anything like the ease you would think. It's impossible to get them back in. Perhaps after they bent and crushed and ruined the gift, the customs people didn't even try to fix their mistake. I tried and failed. So from a safety perspective, if the morons in customs can destroy the gift that easily, so could a kid. Such an item should be curiosity proof, and clearly it's not. So my nephew didn't get to smoosh his face into the pins and marvel at the size of his nose, and I wasted a couple of pounds of my luggage allowance.

I read the reviews from several buyers about how this arrived broken. Well, my husband really wanted this size so we ordered it anyway because we couldn't find it anywhere else. Sure enough, ours arrived broken, as well. 2 of the 6 plastic bolts that hold it together were broken. We decided to keep it anyway. My husband super-glued them and so far it is holding up fine. We wouldn't want it to be any smaller than this... so basically you have to decide if smaller works for you (than you can order a different one) or if you are willing to fix this one if it arrives broken.

Great gift

The photo makes the pins look very long as to capture an entire face. They are not they are shorter than the same one in smaller size. It will not do a full face. I kept it any way I had the other size. Just a fun item not too much expected. run for a child.

This did not work out at all. I sent one to my grandson and it arrived broken. My kids had one when they were young and they loved it so I really wanted my grandson to have one. I ordered another and, it also arrived broken . It is not made nearly as well as the old one.

So/so, but expect cheap and easily breakable. The pins are too short and are nothing like the original crafted by the artist pin art. Balance was lousy and as a result ended up donating this to good will and the church.

It came broken. The corners of the plastic were cracked. The pins were not in place at all, the fell loose at the bottom the box. Avoid buying this product.

Poor, Poor, Poor Quality. They sent me two. They both showed up broken. Do not buy.
