Great PSU
Had this 1000w version for about a year now with mo problems... Not sure why people are concerned with noise levels when it comes to PCs in general because a PC is used with a headset or headphones so the noise level is absolutely and completely irrelevant... Not sure why people are concerned with pc fans and their noise level lol pretty silly and goofy if you ask me....

Impressive packaging and product quality
I bought 2 of these. The packaging is seriously impressive. Build quality of the PSU is amazing. I’m surprised they don’t cost more. I researched these prior to buying and they bench tested quite well from what I found online.

Good Power Supply
Only reason for 4 stars - it died after 2 months. Until then was working great on the rig, just came down to the luck of the draw. Still recommend for the price point.

Good for 3090
Always used seasonic in the past, read up on FSP and they are legit depending on the model, this had good reviews, my last psu lasted me 9 years and was still running, but I upgraded to a 5800x and rtx,3090 so I was cutting it close, figure 1000w with a 10 year warranty will keep me covered for a decade, old seasonic was non modular so cable management was a nightmare, this is much easier being fully modular, noise isn't bad.

Killed my gpu and ram
Bought this unit to pair with my new rx7900xt. Worked fine for a couple hours then started crashing anytime the computer went above idle. Ran windows memory diagnostic and memtest, both confirmed ram has gone bad. Then I tested the rx7900xt on a known good system and experienced issues.

Updated Review
The media could not be loaded. Edit 4.14.21:It has been 4 months since I last edited my review. I wanted to actually take the time to write out an extensive review of my experience with the vendor.I bought this PSU during the pandemic and at the height of the PSU price gouging. When the name brands like Seasonic and EVGA were selling their lower wattage units at around the price point that I bought this FSP PSU. A 1000W PSU for roughly $200, it just made sense.Just as I stated in my original review, Everything was working fine, until after a controlled shutdown was initiated after prolonged use. On the next day when I fired up the PC, clicking/crackling noises.I will not repeat my gripes with Amazon's RMA process (they don't have one!). I will only say that tenacity is needed. My exchanges over email with the vendor was actually very very pleasant. They were quick to send me an RMA ticket. Didn't have to pay for shipping, but I did insure and track the package. Just covering all of my bases in case the blame game revved up. The vendor received my unit just a few days before the holidays and I left it at that until the next year.My experience with this vendors customer service and RMA process felt a bit... like I was a hovering parent? Through my entire dealings with their CS rep, it really did seem as if I was catching them by surprise. I will explain;I contacted the vendor on the 6th of Jan just to verify that they in fact had gotten the unit. They ask for the tracking number for reference. After providing tracking number, had to contact them again a few days later to verify that they had it in hand. They respond with a verification and an update on the RMA process. It seemed as if the RMA crew had received the unit and started the process without updating the CS rep (at least that is how I interpreted the email). Apparently the Integrated Circuit was damaged and a replacement part had been ordered from their HQ in Taiwan. That was the 6th of January.Supply chains being what they are in the pandemic, I wasn't expecting a quick turn around. All I wanted was updates. The next time I would hear from the vendor was on the 29th of March. And that's only because I initiated contact.I was only looking for an update, I definitely was not trying to rush or pressure them! They got back to me on the 31st of March to let me know that the RMA crew had the replacement part in hand and were attempting to fix my unit within 2 weeks. On the 6th of April, I was contacted by the vendor informing me that unfortunately, the RMA crew was unable to fix my unit and that a full refund would be applied to me CC.All in all, I am not displeased with the entire process. The CS rep was very responsive and helpful, when prompted. I felt as if they were really trying to make good on their warranty/product/brand the entire way through, which I really appreciate. Heck! I would have been happy if they had sent me a brand new replacement unit! But only if they could guarantee that the same issue would not arise. My only complaint is that I felt like a hovering parent ensuring that the kids have done their homework.I'm changing my rating to 3 stars, because 1) although I didn't get my unit back or a replacement, I did get refunded, 2) although I had to be the initiator of all contact, they did provide me with the information that I was seeking.I hope this helps others in the future.EDIT 12.5.20:Got in contact with the seller using Amazon's portal and chose some random subject. Explained to to the seller that I wanted an RMA and within 3 days I got a response from them. After providing some information, they sent me an RMA ticket 3 days after that. Will update when I get the PSU backOriginal Post:Purchased this PSU to power a ryzen 9 and still have overhead for efficiency.Install was easy and I really liked the fact that the sata cables had their special port on the PSU.I liked that it was at least $50-100 less than the brand named PSU's.And for a month and a half it was working fine, but sure enough, right after the return window closed, the unit started showing its deficiencies.I usually keep my workstation running for extended periods of time, but every so often, I will completely power off my system. After one such shutdown, the next day I went to fire up the computer and nothing. Flipped the power on and off on the PSU and when I flipped it back on I heard crackling noises coming from the PSU.Needless to say, the unit was removed and replaced with a PSU I had to purchase as a replacement. If you pay close attention to the video, you can hear the crackling I am talking about. And now that the return window has closed and FSP insists that returns and RMA's be done through the retailer, and because Amazon does not make RMA's straight forward and simple, my last recourse is to post in the reviews in hopes that I can get this issue escalated.
