High quality, extremely comfortable theater chairs
This product is perfect for smaller theater rooms. We ordered the black leather with merlot wood finish. The black leather is high quality and true to the picture in color. The merlot finish on the wood is also high quality and a consistent cherry color across all pieces. This set is fairly light weight and easy to move around - creates flexibility in room arrangement. We tested this set with tall friends as well as some of our "vertically challenged" friends - both types assessed that these are very comfortable chairs - the foot rest makes it comfortable for shorter individuals. The chairs are adjustable (tilt), but they are tilted slightly back in the base position. Once you get used to the baseline position, the chairs are very comfortable. The swivel feature makes it easy to chat with the person next to you and adds to the comfort. Finally, the product shipped quickly - we had 6 chairs and the side tables within 8 days from order = all arrived undamaged. We ordered another set and it was delivered quickly, undamaged as well. It took us about 15 minutes per set to put together....but my husband is very handy so it may take a little longer for others - worth the time. The only negative is the wooden buttons that cover the screw holes on the chairs are supposed to fit tightly - they do not - and fall out. You will have to glue them in place. this was a problem for all 7 sets - but easily solved with a drop of wood glue.

Comfy, Supportive and solidly made
Just out of the box and assembled yesterday. Really nice, very supportive, leather appears to be good quality, nice and high so easy to get in and out of for this old man with sciatica. Box it came in was huge and 85 lbs so dismantled the box in garage where UPS left it, and took chair in the house in parts. Would have been nice to have someone's help but managed to wrangle it up a few steps and through 2 doors. Assembly went well on my own with only some minor frustration lining up back and bottom cushions for bolts - a third hand would have made the job quicker. Already my back is feeling better. Only reason for 4 stars is the ottoman cushion seems awfully low and will need some getting used to or may have to add a couple of inches to the base, and the chair is bigger and heavier than I thought it would be (not necessarily bad but worth a mention). And as others have said, not really possible to get seat back totally upright, but still am able to use laptop sitting nearly upright, and does recline more than enough for a nap. I'm 6' and 220 lbs and it easily supports me, reclines and swivels easily - but will be putting some spray dry lubricant in the tracks to keep it moving smoothly and some leather protector/conditioner to keep it supple. Hopefully will hold up!

Attractive, excellent lumbar support. Assembly tips.
My old recliners died and I opted for two Mac Motion Oslo Recliner replacements. Good move!PROS:1: Delivery: LESS than two days! Seriously, I ordered these Sunday night and they were delivered Tuesday morning! Heavy, secure packaging and wrapping--more on this later.2. Assembly: easily done by one person in less than an hour. The box is heavy (91 pounds) though ten pounds consists of cardboard and plastic. I suggest cutting off the top, rolling the box upside down and letting the chair slide out.MAJOR TIP: go to the Mac Motion video and pay attention how the guy orients the base, back and chair during assembly. Also, they now include an oversize hex wrench which is waaaaay better than a standard "L-shaped" hex wrench.3. Appearance and comfort: looks good; the color is sorta gray-brown. I'm 6-foot, 250 pounds and these chairs are quite comfortable with excellent lumbar support. My 5' 7" wife also loves them and both she, and my cats, have been known to nap in them. They are very firm, reminiscent of oversized bucket seats in a car. The swivel mechanism works smoothly, but you need to move the chair about a foot from the wall to fully recline.CONS:I needed to cut the annoying "Oslo Collection" logo advertisement off the footrests. Nice for a showroom, but not my living room, thank you. This must be done with extreme care to avoid damaging the surface material.Packaging is my biggest gripe. I appreciate and understand the need for good shipping protection. I don't have a solution, but I was left with a huge pile of cardboard, plastic wrap, strapping and worst of all, non-recyclable Styrofoam. This cheap Styrofoam is particularly annoying. If you break it up for disposal, do it outside or you will be picking tiny shards of Styrofoam “shrapnel” off the floors, your pant's legs, cabinets and walls for a month!Anyway, I give these chairs a solid 4-1/2 stars. I deducted a bit for the advertising on the footrests and all the trash, but the chairs are elegant and comfortable. I'm very, very pleased with my purchase.

Broken down after 1 year.
Chair has 2 long bolts that hold it together by attaching the arms to the back. They'll loosen and the threads will strip. Because they're hidden in the arms, you won't know until the chair collapses. Can't find replacements.

Finally sitting in comfort! UPDATED June2019
Easy to assemble, very comfy for a 6'3" 220# person. suspect the leather needs TLC over time but overall very satisfied. as mentioned in other reviews, the color of the leather is slightly darker than was apparent on the site picture which was great for me. UPDATE AFTER ABOUT 1 YEAR OF USE i STARTED SEEING THE LEATHER PEEL OFF ON THE LEFT ARMREST. NOW IT IS ALMOST ALL GONE. THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE GENUINE LEATHER AND NOT BONDED VINYL OR LEATHERETTE. CHAIR IS STILL COMFORTABLE HOWEVER NOW UNSIGHTLY AND IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTACT ANYONE TO GET SOME SPARE MATERIAL TO REDO THE ARMREST. AT THIS POINT AND UNLESS SOMETHING HAPPENS WITH THE MANUFACTURER TO HELP ME, I WOULD NEVER BUY THIS AGAIN comfortable however but now u sightly
