Product is actually well constructed, but as is so often the case, user documentation is a disaster. The only instructions are what is printed on the back of the package.What you need to know that is NOT explained:Each of the couplers (at either end of the clear tube) have 2 o-rings to prevent leaks. IF you use a different size coupler, you have to take the o-rings from the o-rings that come attached to the unit and move them to the other couplers. I had huge leaks because I did not do this.NO instructions to help

Leaks through the plastic, returned right away.",, (Editing. After I realized I didn't add the gaskets when changing the nozzle size. I retried it & the leaks were gone. Changing review to a 3 star until I try for a few weeks & get no leaks. Worth a try for the price if works as intended.)

So I read the reviews about leaks and the orings. I switched the default connectors and made sure to move the washers(o-rings) in the middle and connected everything. It seemed ok until i realized a day later it was dripping from the top and bottom of the reactor. I went back to amazon reviews and saw lots of people with the exact same issue. I THEN took one last look at the original connectors, there are ANOTHER 2 LARGE orings that are hard to see because they are a tight fit. Once i transferred those as well everything works great.———-Update. After about a month i looked and the acrylic thread had cracked and was leaking water. Had to throw it out . Bought the nilocg instead.

I am not happy with this product I installed it and once I cut my canister filter back on it leaked, I tried to tighten it again and still leaked

Having read the reviews, I made sure to move the I-ring to the new adapter, but I get a leak between the clear middle and the bottom thread no matter how a reseat them. It seems like there should be an o-ring there too, but none was supplied. It leaks into the sump for now, so it’s not a huge issue. I’d go back to using a glass diffuser if this thing wasn’t a huge pain to install and adjust under a tank.

Works great for me. Paying attention to the I rings is key.

Doesn't leak if you use the orings.
