Black Diamond Cosmo 250 Headlamp

Head torch is brilliant super lightweight and compact I am very happy with the torch but the package was already opened and damaged when I received thisThis is not black diamonds fault this is pretty bad as it was bought as new from Amazon and I am pretty annoyed but I am not going to the hastle of returning it as the head torch works

Excellent head torch which often sells for a low price on here. It has 3 LEDs, white spot, white flood and red, all of which were really useful in my latest camping trip. Most bugs aren't attracted to the red, which is great as my recent campsite would swarm any white light instantly. All the LEDs are smoothly dimmable, so you can set them exactly how you want, and they remember the previous level.Strap is comfy, takes standard or rechargeable AAA batteries without issue.

I didn't want to pay silly money for a head torch but wanted something decent and this head torch fitted the brief. The dimmable light function is great plus for star gazing the red light is perfect. Happy with the intensity of the bright light but I've never tried an expensive torch so can't really judge. The build and finish of the unit are quality too.

Not tested outside yet. Seems fit for purpose. Like that its not heavy.

Once you get over the range of combinations possible with the two buttons this is a fantastic headlamp; lightweight, long battery life, excellent beam range and the headband is very comfortable.
