Guerlain Cils D'enfer Maxi Lash Mascara, No. 01 Noir, 0.28 Ounce

I've purchased this before, and LOVE LOVED IT! I loved (past tense) that the brush was thicker and more "brush like" and that it spread out my lashes perfectly and quickly. However,.. This one is a much wetter product and when I tried to wipe some off the brush, I found the "brush was hard plastic and so were the bristles?? Both the product and the brush is VERY different than before. I swore by this mascar once and this isn't the same at all! The brush is hard and stiff. The mascara is "very wet", and takes a while to dry, and causes my lashes to clump and stick together. Unless this is a "bad batch with a wrong brush", or they changed something..I'm very unhappy. This doesn't seem like the same product at all. I'm shocked after spending so much on a product I once LOVE LOVED so much and have recommended to several friends. Perhaps it's a "knock off" or a bad batch but this is NOT the same perfect eyelash brush or product as I've purchased in the past from another seller. Perhaps that's the real problem? I won't be buying this again.

Very strange smell. Not sure it’s original. Maybe it’s fake. Thou it comes out easily what I find important.

This is hands down the best mascara I’ve ever used. I don’t need a primer either. I have a certain technique to applying mascara because my lashes naturally stick out instead of up and with this the results are even more dramatic! I’ve been using this product for about three years now. I still love my Lancôme and Clarins mascaras but Guerlain is the best. I’ve used some of their other products over the years as well as the meteorites pearls powder which is the best powder.

Love this mascara for thinning eyelashes. It adds what appears to be more volume and length. The only negative is the price. Too steep for me to keep on using.

Frankly - I never write reviews. BUT I'd given up wearing mascara because I simply couldn't find any that made my sparse 60+ eyelashes look good. My lashes are very sparse (age) and this product is AMAZING. Not sure why it works, and don't care - but it does!! I've tossed out all my other and will continue to ONLY buy this brand. Thank you!!

I've tried so many different mascaras and this is my favorite! I transitioned away from Mac and into YSL, but once I tried Guerlain, I knew I finally found the right one! The brush is great for good coverage, but not clumpy. The waterproof version is also wonderful!

I have used this mascara for a few years now....usually bought it on Sephora, but this is faster and easier! It really is my favorite and I have tried a LOT of mascaras...

Been using this mascara for years. Yes, it’s expensive but so worth it. My lashes haven’t been curled or treated in anyway, they look like this with using Maxi Lash. It is buildable and separates them beautifully. The wand is solid and not fluffy like other mascaras, this helps with the application for length and volume. 100% recommend!

I did not expect this mascara to be so good. It gives length, volume, stays well. Love it and definitely one of the best mascaras I’ve ever had and sokid competition to my most favourite Chanel Volume

I love this mascara but it’s so difficult to buy in the shop now so buying on Amazon is a great bonus. People always ask if I’ve got false lashes on

I love this mascara. I'm on my third one of these after receiving one as part of a gift set. I wouldn't use any other mascara now. It gives me the perfect look and is great to apply.
