Helly HansenMen's Lifaloft Hooded Insulator Jacket

Good jacket, maybe slightly wider in size than usual

I bought this jacket as I am a fan on Helly Hansen's lifa material. I was hoping that this coat could be used casually and when out walking/exercising. If I'm honest, it doesn't look great - certainly not like a jacket with an MRSP of £200. The fit is not that great either if you are more on the slim side. However, it is long enough and the sleeves are a good length. Performance wise, it is an excellent jacket. I've worn the jacket in -4 with -10 wind chill with just a lifa top underneath and I was very comfortable. The hood is also excellent. The hood is snug and keeps out the cold. If you want performance, it is an excellent jacket. If you are buying it for fashion, look elsewhere.Edit: Forget to say that there are two internal pouch pockets. Very useful.

This jacket is amazing. Purchased a size L and it fits perfectly. Although it's very lightweight it is warm. Would definitely recommend

I bought a large and it fits me well (6ft tall, 42” chest). The coat is very light weight but keeps out the wind and is warm enough for a chilly spring or autumn day. Also I like the look of the material as it’s not shiny and doesn’t make a noise when you move around like other coats can.

Love this jacket. Size chart recommended large for 42" chest. A bit too big for my liking. However, it does give me room for wearing a full fleece jacket underneath. But will be baggy on warmer days.Other than that, I'm happy with it.

Very nice lightweight jacket, can pack into its own pocket (but careful not to fully close the pocket zip or you won't get it open again as the zip is on wrong side for that) Not very warm but really light/thin. Absolutely ideal as a mid layer, slightly warmer than a fleece but much softer, lighter, breathable and packable than fleece.
