Guitar pickup covers for Fluence Modern Style Humbucker,Plastic White (Set of 2)

These covers arrived new, in good condition. They look nice, and fit the pickup. Two things kept me from using them on my Mustang HH. One, on the pickup there is about a 1/4 inch air gap above the poles because these humbuckers are on the thin side; looks like you'd have this on Epiphone pickups too. Two, they have square corners, not rounded; as this guitar has pickups mounted in the pickguard and not in rings, I'd have to cut the pickguard to make room for the covers. I didn't want to cut the pickguard considering also having to move the pickups an extra 1/4 inch away from the strings was already giving me doubts about my project. I bet they'd be perfect in a pickup mounting ring. These are advertised for Fluence pickups, so I knew I could run into issues. Not a fault of the product, but good to consider if you have plans similar to mine.

I tried to use these on my Squier, but they are too wide to fit without cutting the pickguard out. Perhaps these would fit a different model easier and I'm not sure if different companies have different sized humbuckers, but I am not sure they will work. They were however a great price if they work for someone else and may be a nice mod for a Epiphone or Gibson.
