Works great...terrible container
Off! changed the container from the spray bottle to the aerosol can on this product some time in the last few years. The old spritz bottle was easy to carry and easy to combine other bottles when there was too little to effectively spray. The new aerosol cans spray a lot more product (using it up faster for little extra mosquito protection), are slightly more cumbersome to carry with you if you hike with it, and there's almost always extra left in the can that can't be used before the can is depressurized from use.I noticed Repel (40% deet) is $1 less than Deepwoods Off (25% deet) with an extra 1.5 ounces of fluid using the spritz bottle at Walmart. I'll be trying that next and switching to that if it works good.I don't like it when companies replace a good product with an inferior product on the same listing.

The hero of my backyard bar-b-ques
This has been the mosquito season to end all mosquito seasons. It also happens to be the summer that we added and awesome new patio. I love spending time outside, but the mosquitoes and chiggers very happily gorge on my flesh. I've tried everything to improve my back yard entertainment. Citronella candles, bracelets, insecticide sprays, anti-mosquito pellets. and a fogger. This is the only thing that works- and work it does. As long as I get a good covering, I get no further bites. It doesn't offer a barrier at all though, so all areas that are not directly covered are fair game for the mosquitoes. My husband thought I was going overboard buying a case of 12. I will probably buy another before the summer's up. I can't even walk to my car without a squadron of West-Nile-carrying blood suckers targeting me.I do have to keep my daughter indoors in the evening. I find that this product burns my skin a bit when i put it on. I can't put it on her and "lesser" mosquito sprays just don't cut it this year.In summary-Pros:* Works when nothing else does.* Not greasy - sprays on easily* Lasts 3-4 hoursCons:* Everybody smells like mosquito spray - and the smell is strong* Not great for toddlers

Read the Description no Matter What
This isn't about the product. But, I've purchased many many cans of Off aerosol spray over the years. Therefore, I don't read the description and go by the pictures/images as I do with all repeat purchases unless there's a drop-down selection which there wasn't in this case. In this casel. All images showed aerosol spray.I was sent 12 cans of pump/spritz spray that, unfortunately, we won't use. We use Off on several horses up to five times per day and this type of spray not only takes forever to get on them; a squirt at a time, but we can't get it everywhere they need it; specifically under their bellies.

The only bug spray that really works for us
"Deep Woods" OFF! is the only bug spray we've found that really works for my family in tropical areas, specifically to keep off mosquitoes and sand flies (no-see-ums). It does have a distinctive smell but you get used to it. The spray is "light" enough (not oily) that you can spray it over shoes and clothing (to stop ticks), hair, etc. It will damage some things - I cannot keep nail polish on while using it. We have tried every other brand we could find and this is our reliable standby.

CAUTION - PRODUCT LEAKED DURING SHIPPING
Most of the bottles had leaked a little bit ... losing some of the repellent ... getting repellent on the bottle ... and staining the labels. The bottle caps were not tight. The package was not an original manufacturer box. For this type of post-manufacturer packaging ... it would help if the bottle caps were super tightened before shipping.
