you will need to give them more money if you want to record 4k raw

I had a bad experience at first where I got a faulty power supply but I contacted Convergent Design directly and they were absolutely fantastic about resolving the issue. I had a faulty power supply so the unit would not turn on. They quickly shipped me a new power supply even though my warranty had passed as I had not used the item until months after purchasing it. I was very happy with their customer service and am happy with the unit now it really has some great features.

Amazing tool. Playback can be a little glitchy, but overall it's the best purchase I've made in years.

Pros:Lightweight, Flexible, Loaded with usable features and scopes, Plenty of SDI outs and SDI ins, Excellent Convergent Design customer service.Cons:HDMI in is really close to where you would screw in from the right so you will have to screw in from left when using HDMI.Picture calibration between 2 Odyssey 7q's is almost impossible, so you just have to trust the scopes.I use with Sony FS7. Records 4K ProRes. For Raw, you will need Sony's extension Unit XDCA-F7 and you will need to rent or buy the Raw Bundle from Convergent Design. Overall, a great product.
