CanopusLight Weight Hihat Hi-Hat Stand (CHS-1)

I've used Yamaha hardware my whole career and love it -- I still think it's the best engineered hardware in the industry. But even Yamaha's lightest gear can still get heavy. I've been re-outfitting my jazz kit (Gretsch four-piece be-bop configuration) with the lightest yet most professional and reliable hardware I can find and Canopus is my hands-down solution. I started by trying the straight cymbal stands and was delighted. I just tried the high-hat stand and was incredibly impressed. So much lighter and such a smaller footprint in my trap case. I used it on a three-hour gig for the first time last night and it performed perfectly. I have no complaints and recommend it highly. Next up: Trying the Canopus snare stand.

At first, I was thrilled with this hi-hat stand. It is light and compact when taken apart. The stand worked very well for a few weeks. I like the clutch that comes with it and the rod is the perfect height for my uses with my jazz drums. However, after a few weeks, while on a gig, the footboard detached from the rest of the stand! I had to scramble to find all of the pieces. It required a flathead screwdriver to reattach everything. A few weeks later the same thing happened! I kept on repairing it every few weeks until I gave up recently. Canopus tried to help me remotely however I did what they said and the same issue kept on happening. I really want to give the stand a better review but at least my stand seems to have a defect.

Very happy with this high hat stand - it is solid and continues to work well years after purchase with regular use. Way lighter than any other high hat stand I have owned. Drum hardware is much too heavy in general so this is a real improvement. A screw came loose on it a couple weeks back and I lost a little gasket; I contacted Canopus and they have been nice enough to send me a replacement free of charge.

コスパが良い商品です。操作性も良くとても扱いやすいです。プロの方にも安心して使用していただいています。欠点は高さの調整で低くできないこと。そのためパイプカットで１０センチほどカットしてから下げて使用しています。
