I got this little light because I live outside the city and I have a 3 miles walk to work every day and I usually out of my house a 6 am when is still dark and I am walking home at night after sundown down a road without any sidewalk and I am sharing the road with traffic. I clip this light to my backpack and cars can see me from a mile away. It extremely bright light without blinding the drivers and you will be hard to miss with this handy light.

I tested one of these units (in flashing mode) using both the included battery pack and then subsequently using separately purchased CR2032 cells with good remaining shelf life.First off, the light really does change modes (steady or flashing) when the polarity is reversed by flipping the batteries. A nice feature, which eliminates the need for a switch.Second, it *might* be true that the unit can continue to operate (in flashing mode) for 240 - 250 hours. I halted both of my tests before that point because the emitted light had become faint. The flashing might be considered acceptably bright for the first 80 - 100 hours, but the light intensity does eventually fade down to nothing.It would be nice if the manufacturer could be transparent about the duration of "effective" lighting vs simply operating down to a bare nub.I would include these units in an emergency / survival kit, with the understanding of the limitaions.

I have purchased a number of these types of safety lights and this is the only one that works consistently well. It is worth the extra expense. Easy to turn on and off, and highly durable. AND unlike many others on the market, this one did not need new batteries right out of the package!

Bought three of these lights to clip on my small dogs' collars when let outside after dark to confuse any coyotes that may be lurking nearby. Price was great; delivery prompt; and lights have worked as expected. Dogs are easy to spot at night in the fenced-in backyard. Small size of lights are not too overwhelming for dogs' collars. Very bright lights that clip on easily.

Light is bright and functions well. The carabinier gate is terrible and won't keep it clipped to the dogs collar for any reasonable length of time. I prefer the model that attaches directly to the collar fabric.

Very bright light. I use it on my dog's collar in strobe mode. You can see the flashing light easily from several hundred yards. It's about the size of a Master combination lock used on gym lockers. You can set it for constant or flashing. I prefer flashing for my purposes. It's made out of plastic, so if you plan on using it in such a manner that would cause stress on the hinge it will break.

Not sure if the threads are stripped or someone assembled this with a hammer instead of just gently screwing the lens on. Unusable and will likely cost me more to return it than I paid for it.

I like this style because it is easy to clip to your dog's collar. I like how these lights have both a flashing and steady function. This brand of lights is the best that I have found for my dogs! They really are waterproof and tough! They are the brightest lights for dogs that I have seen. I tried bicycle lights because they are brighter, but they broke easily and stopped working due to water damage (despite being "waterproof"). The only con that I can think of is that you have to buy their brand of batteries, due to the way they are packaged (3 stacked and wrapped in plastic). I tried to buy compatible batteries and stack them, but it didn't work, possibly because they were loose in the battery compartment, due to not having the plastic cover.

Nachdem mein Hund dann schon 4 verschiedene Lämpchen beim Spielen mit anderen Hunden zerlegt hat oder diese einfach mal von sich aus den Dienst versagt haben, entschied ich mich dazu, ein wenig mehr Geld auszugeben und wurde wirklich nicht enttäuscht.Einfach Lampengehäuse drehen zum aktivieren, Batteriepack umdrehen um den Leuchtmodus zu ändern (Dauerleuchten oder Blinken,) fertig.Super stabiles Gerät mit angenehmer Helligkeit ohne den Hund (oder Frauchen und Herrchen) mit einer Diskotheken-Lightshow verrückt zu machen.TOP 5 Sterne
