Deka Power Sports ETX14L Battery

Great battery. Good price. Same specs but more power than original.After almost 6 months of having my 2006 Sporter XLC garaged, with trickle charger on, the 1year old HD expensive battery was completely dead. Tried to charge it multiple ways to no avail. Then try to boost using my truck but it was a no good, the HD battery is a dead block of lead now. Went on a trip and read about this Big Crank reviews. Upon my return still a little uneasy and skeptical about buying a battery online, I decided to order the ETX14L which has the same specs, size, polarity, etc, as the original HD battery. It's $74 with shipping included, so I took the chance to order it about 2 months ago. Got it in about a week after ordered, but I had to leave on another trip, so just came back 3 weeks later. Opened the package, measured voltage and was about 75% of total charge (cool that they send you info on how to measure the total charge). Decided to leave it charging overnight. Next day, decided to sweat in the garage to install the battery (decided to close the garage door because of bad skunk smell outside, took my compact bow and went looking for it but could not find the darn skunk). After about 20 minutes I took old battery out, and put new in. I used the spacers and bolts provided because my XLC has side connections. I thought of leaving the bike alone for tomorrow but my curiosity was strong, so decided to give it a crank; took out the choke, turn the key on, pressed the start; and you would not believe that in two tries the bike was on. Turned it off after 5 seconds, tried again, strong crank again and on in about 2 seconds; No way!! And my XLC had now about 8 months just sitting there. In my opinion, I got a really good battery, cranks much louder that original. It's my first day, so if I have problems I will come back to change the review. But for now if it lasts me more than the HDbattery, it's $74 well spent.

Great battery totally worth the price

Had to double my PTSD meds This battery did not fit a 2004 Sportster I've been riding Harleys for over 40 years and this was the most frustrating repair I've ever done. This battery is about an inch too long which won't allow the side cover to sit flush. I had to reroute a bunch of wiring and the fuse box. The side cove is now attached with zip ties and has about a 1inch gap where it should sit flush.I WOULD NOT BUY THIS AGAINJust noticed label said sent by NDB Novelty company What the Hell No wonder the Battery didn't fit

I bought the Big Crank for my 2010 Iron Sportster for $75 with free shipping It's a perfect fit for my MC. It seems to be working well. It is June now here in Texas, so it'll be put to the test.......

I bougth this Battrey in July 2023 for my ATV went to start it yesterday battrey was dead, nerve had this problem be for with your battries. I purchase same battery back in 2021 stated good alway,s.So what can you do about this battery i just bougth?

This is an excellent battery for the money. I have drained it 2 or 3 times and it still was able to charge. OEM Harley batteries would die after the first drain.

Intalled the battery was easy , fit was great . included the spacer washers needed to fit in my 08 Sporty . Cranks over nice . Like it because its a gel mat battery also . The price was fair and beat other similar style units . Would buy another ...Will see how long it lasts ...

This battery replaced the battery in my Harley Sportster. It was also a Deka battery that lasted 5yrs. A lot cheaper price than the OEM from Harley and out lasted there battery by an extra 2yrs.
