I have used this lamp in my office for treatment of my clients that have soreness due to tight muscles. I have also used it on my own lower back and the relief form pain is remarkable. I did have some trouble adjusting the positioning of the lamp at first but soon learned how to get it to hold position after I had set the height correctly.

We bought 2 of these lamps for our acupuncture rooms. One heat lamp caught fire and burned out within 2 months. THe other one is singed and we are afraid to use it. The company will not give us our money back. Don't buy this lamp.

I have only had it for less than 24hrs. Arrived on time in excellent condition, checked inventory of parts they were all there also comes with two spare fuses and (1) small wrench. Produces solid heat after preheat phase which is about 15 min. I noticed that when trying to select the on position with the control knob the device does not activated, without first going through preheat. The lowest I have been able to lower the lamp head measuring from the floor to the bottom of lamp head is about 10 inches. The highest point is about 53-54 inches. I plan on using it about 3 times a day.

Discovered this during acupuncture session. Felt wonderful on back. Heat is dependent on where head lamp is placed. Warms the muscles perfectly after only 15 min. Will use on cold damp days, just to warm the body. Heat penetrates as a tanning bed lamp, without the possibility of burn.

It is a nice lamp the does the job I need it to do. I think the assembly instructions need a lot of work, but we got it together. Make sure you give yourself 15 minutes for it to warm up.

I LOVE this thing! It emits a fair amount of heat. I probably put it about 18" from my clients back so it doesn't get too hot. Almost all of them are singing me 'The Snore Song' by the end. Wonderful!This kind of heat is very soothing to the muscles, opening up flows, blood circulation and lymph (the washing machine system of the body). Communication between the systems of the body improve so it can heal itself.The only thing I have had any problem with is I have carpet in my treatment room and when I roll it the legs you have to tighten individually when you assemble it come loose and turn sideways. I have to tighten it more often than someone would if they didn't have carpet on the floor. That is the only thing that has been a problem. It's super easy to put together. Probably took me less than 15 minutes.It was also a really great price at $125! Thank you!

Lamp did not turn on the second time I plugged it in. It worked one time. Plugging and unplugging are the only ways to turn this lamp on or off.

Works well. Base is a bit larger than I'd like but it's also more stable than other lamps because it has 5 legs instead of 4. The assembly instructions were not that great but we managed. Haven't used it more than a couple months so can't comment on longevity of hot plate. Wish I knew that myself before buying but unfortunately there weren't many customer reviews on amazon before I decided to try it. I'm glad we though. It was more affordable here than other sites and with Prime, shipping was fast! Would buy again.
