Spork perfection
I decided to try this spork in an effort to reduce my pack weight for backpacking. Having used it several times now, I am sold. The TOAKS spork functions very well and feels like you're eating with a normal utensil, not a specialty utensil that's awkward. It is also quite strong and weighs almost nothing. The tines work well for picking up food in fork mode, though retention on any spork isn't quite as good as a real fork. I have no problems stabbing myself with the tines while eating, as you can do on some sporks. I prefer this to plastic sporks (Light My Fire, etc), because barring some heroic effort, you're not going to break this one. The length is also good and the metal is very well finished. I also enjoy the simplicity of packing only one eating utensil on any trip. I recently got a chance to compare this spork to the Snow Peak titanium spork. Overall, both are good utensils. The spoon is slightly larger on the Snow Peak, and the tines are a little longer and more prominent. Advantage, Snow Peak. But, the Toaks spork has a larger handle that is textured, which improves grip and feels better in the hand. Advantage, Toaks. (See the photo I uploaded). Both seem very strong, so it really comes down to personal choice. After having used both, I still prefer the Toaks spork. It comes pretty close to spork perfection. Five stars, recommended.

Favorite Camping Spoon
I go camping a lot and was looking for a light weight, quality, perfect length, decently thick spoon that would work well for my needs. This spoon checks all of those boxes perfectly. Very happy

Lightweight, durable and functional!!
Summary: Weight: 5 stars Durability: 5 stars Spoon function: 5 stars Fork function: 3.5 stars Overall: 5 stars (All other factors outweighed the weakness of the fork, so don't let that hold you back. Most sporks fail as a fork in my opinion so this one is way better). **Slightly more detailed review: I bought this to function for both my daily work flatware (I hate throwing out so much plastic) and my backpacking spork. It feels like nothing in my hand weight wise, even less than a plastic fork but it is sturdy as titanium should be. I tend to bend my stainless steel flatware, so I opted for the titanium. The spork functions great as spoon. I like it even better than my normal kitchen spoons. As a fork it is ok. Better than most sporks but not as good as a dedicated fork. However, for its function and utility this is still a great piece. I can grab one thing to use for almost any lunch I'll bring to work. It will also make a great backpacking spork I'm sure. The price is reasonably and the product is quality. You'll enjoy this piece of gear.

Comfortable and sturdy, yet lightweight. Worth the $9!
Update: It DOES leave marks/scratches on glass. We didn't notice it until there started being more and more of them. I should also note that the scratches/marks left on the Corelle plates and cups sparked in the microwave. Toaks makes a great spork! It's comfortable to hold and sturdy, yet lightweight. I measured it against my Oneida teaspoons and they're the same size until the start of the spork's tines. With this length you get a fully functional spoon and short tines to jab non liquid food with. It's not the best with pasta noodles because you can't fit a lot on there and wrap it like you would with a regular fork, but it's 100 times easier to clean the spork's tines. Side note to people just intending to use it in the household; titanium leaves marks on porcelain so if you use it with porcelain plates, such as Corelle, or other dishes that are glazed, it leaves dark grey streaks where the titanium dragged across the plate. These can be removed using Bar Keepers Friend or another abrasive cleaner. BKF works the best though. It didn't leave marks on stainless steel or glass dishes.

Bought this for my wife - now it's her favorite utensil
So my wife likes sporks. I don't know why, but she does. She has always made do with those plastic ones you get from restaurants and she prefers to use them whenever she eats anything - be it breakfast, lunch, or dinner. So she had found one of my camping sporks and asked about it and I told her that I'd get her her own spork. I found this titanium one here and it seemed to be a good size. The other titanium sporks are either too big or a little too small. This spork is just right - about the same size as a normal teaspoon, but just a little bit longer. Well, my wife loves this spork. It has become her go-to utensil and she uses it every single day for every single meal she eats at home. When we travel, this spork comes along with her. So there you go - this is an excellent, lightweight, properly sized, fully-functional eating utensil. 100% wife approved.

Vargo, Toaks, Light My Fire, Snow Peak
Good for scoopable meals. The spoon is light and durable. The spoon part holds a little less than a regular spoon because of the tines. The fork park stabs less well than a fork because of the spoon. But if you want to carry just one thing, it will do. It is 6-3/4ths inches long, so it's long like real silverware. The spoon head is 1-1/2 inches wide and 2 inches long. The handle is straight. If you need short and stubby, look to other stuff. Attatched in a pick of my bunch of titanium forks. From left to right is Vargo, Toaks, Light My Fire, and two Snow Peaks. Overall the ones with the main shape (true Sporks) are basically interchangable. The difference is in the handle shapes. The Snow Peak has the biggest scoop area, but only by slightly. I don't believe that it would have any functional difference. The feel of the thicker handles is a little better, but again, it's only a minor difference. So it's basically a 4-way tie just about with those. They are all long, light, and feel similar to regular silverware. The Light My Fire two-sided spoon and fork combo is different. It has a true spoon and a true fork on each end, and a minimally serrated edge. That gives you more spoon area and more fork area which is quite useful. But, you sacrifice useable reach as you have to grasp it differently, and it has a different feel than typical silverware due to the shape. Overall, pick what you like, they are all good and comparable.

Lovin' my spork!
Unlike most of the other customers that have purchased a spork, I did not purchase mine for hiking or camping or any other outdoor activity. I purchased mine simply to eat my salad which is typically diced up so small that I can't stab enough of it with the tines of a fork and using a spoon scoops up too much. The spork is the perfect union of the two to grab the perfect mouthful. And although I purchased it to use for eating my salad, I'm finding that it's also perfect for eating my fruit salad as I can use the tines to stab the larger pieces and the spoon for the smaller pieces. From the time it was delivered, the spork is the only utensil I have, and probably will ever use (except of course a knife to prepare my salads : ). The Toaks spork is extremely light weight yet very strong. I absolutely love my Toaks spork!

Great sporks
I really like these sporks and have bought several of them. They are lightweight but have a good thickness and are comfortable to use. The polished end is really nice. Sometimes there are slight burrs on the teeth, but they can be easily removed in seconds with some 400 or 600 grit wet/dry sandpaper. Really good product.

Plastik kasik ve catal kullanmamak icin aldim. Pilav, barbunya gibi peketli/konserve gidalarda ve tabldotta yerken kullanisli. Catal kismi cok keskin. Porselen vey aseramik tabaklarinizi cizebilir. Salata yerken catal kismini denedim ama pek verimli olmadi. Patates yerken catal kismi guzel is goruyor. Saglam, titanyum, isini yapiyor. Alinir.

Price Point is high
This spoon is packaged well. It's dimensions are spot-on. The spoon is nice and large and the fork teeth are long enough to help you pick up your food. Titanium is strong and lightweight and looks good. Price point is a bit high. will last you for the rest of your life if taken care of.
