Tool worked exactly as it was supposed to, I did the main seal on my 2006 6.0 when I had the transmission out. Word of advice if your new seal comes with a plastic “installation tool” DO NOT USE IT WITH THIS TOOL! I almost wrecked my seal by doing so but luckily caught my mistake. Overall it is a high quality tool, even came with a cool can coozie.

Was going to order the OTC rear main seal tool for my 6.0 powerstroke till I came across this one at lower price and it works great

This seal installer is perfect. Did the job effortlessly. The quality on the threads and all the parts couldn't be better. Very happy with it!

Worked as needed for 2008 6.4L rear seal. It did come with the needed bolts. Great value

Don’t recommend. Could not install one seal before breaking
It deserves zero stars in reality. Tool broke the first and only time attempting to use it. The long nut appears to be non hardened and when installing the seal with a simple crescent wrench the threads of the nut appeared to stretch and locked into threaded shaft. When attempting to remove the nut the shaft actually unscrewed from the tool because the nut was so tight on to the threaded shaft. I was not able to use this tool to install the rear main seal before it broke. I ended up installing the rest of the way with a board and a hammer which works fine. Broken tool returned for credit. Spend the extra and get the Freedom Racing Tool.
