First things first, this tells the temperature and the humidity.Calibrating couldn't be easier, just use a flat head screwdriver in the back.It can be stood up on any flat surface, or hung on a wall with a single screw.5 star for all that.But, my life is this a cheap import and BADLY translated.The 3 bars above the temperature in blue, green and orange say:Lowtemperature (no space)Be Well (whatever that means)hot (all lower case)The small text near the centre says:Please enter the text content need to be translated: (LITERALLY)18~23°C 45~65%RHPlants suitable for temperature and humidity (no semi colon this time)22~32°C 60~80%RHThe 3 bars above the humidity say:fire (wow)comfortablemoistureproof (no space, and what?!?)lastly, the text along the bottom says:Production of precision excellent quality leading the trendy (I'm crying)The translation is awful, 1 star.But it made me laugh so hard, it's only bringing my review down to a total of 4 star.Lastly, the pictures on the product page are such pathetic "photoshops", really who would think those are real.

Thankfully these can be calibrated and once done so work great, nice and big, easy to read and clean crisp printing.The bad points: literally has the sentence "please enter the text content to translate" printed on the face of the dial and the wording whilst getting the message across are quite the wrong order.Overall happy with the product and does the job it is intended for

I am sorry to say that for me, this thermometer did not give accurate readings.

This was larger than I expected but my fault for not checking the measurements. I bought it to go in seed germination box so I could keep an eye on the temperature. I managed to get it in the box and it is fantastic. Very clear display.

It's accuracy is a liittle variable, i have an sbsolutley accurate beer&wine thermometer hung side by side and sometimes they do not agree up to 1.5 degrees low on yours don't quite know why as they in the same location , but most of the time they do agree!

This is quite a large beast.The dial is easy to read and I've tested it next to other thermometers/hydrometers and the readings are the same so works well.I find it quite amusing that the makers decided to explicitly state that is' cold or hot. Like we can't tell .... Because of that strange feature, I'm dropping a start as it really does seem a bit silly.It is made of plastic (unfortunately).But essentially, it does what it's meant to do, so no issues.

Bought this for camping and generally outdoor use. On receipt, it was clear that the gauge was not calibrated, as the temp and humidity were way off. So the unit had to be calibrated (some how). This was a bit difficult as you needed some sort of temperature and humidity gauge to be able to do that. It would be much better if the units were pre calibrated at the factory.Other than that, the gauge is easy to read and does not require any batteries.

On opening the packaging I placed the thermometer on the side in the living room and it read 25 it stayed at that for 2 days, I took it outside out of direct sunlight and it went up to 43 when the temperature was 22 so had to adjust it to the proper temp same with the hydrometer. I then took it down the side of the house which is covered and cooler and the temperature dropped to 3 degrees as you can see from the pictures supplied, it has now been binned
