Just One More

I was tempted to give this book two or three stars because I have read it SO. MANY. TIMES. But... the truth is, my kid loves this book. So much so that we've had to buy it multiple times. The first copy came from Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. My daughter was old enough to fall in love with the book and want it read every night, but unfortunately not old enough to be trusted to not rip out the pages. So we purchased another copy, which came quickly (thanks, Amazon) and put us back in bedtime business. Then she caught a stomach bug and threw up all over the new copy, which she STILL wanted to read. The replacement copy couldn't come soon enough. In the past few months she has moved on and doesn't want Just One More every night, but she still goes back to it from time to time, and there was a period of about six months when she absolutely had to have it every single night.Because there's not much copy and the pictures are really engaging, this is a great book for adding interaction. My husband started referring to his nightly reading as the "Rocky Horror Just One More" because he and my daughter developed a whole set of responses to each page (he would say "Just one more minute" and she would snore, he would say "Just one toy in the tub" and she would say "Splash, splash," etc.). Sometimes we would read it with our daughter's name in place of Ruby's, which she loved. Peak Just One More age for us was around two years old.This isn't a book I ever would have picked out for my kid, but I love how much she loves it. It's a short story with lots of room for improvisation and interaction, which is great for reading to younger kids.

This was a very cute book that was so like a preschool child's thought process! My three year twin grandma daughters LOVED it. They also want "just one more" hair thingy! Highly recommend!

My Granddaughter loves this book and is able to read it to me. This book is one Kids will love to read over and over again!!!

This is my 2 year old daughter's favorite book. She has it totally memorized and "reads" it with me. It is a cute story about a little girl who always wants "just one more" with disastrous consequences, but it all works out in the end!

This is our third time getting this book. It's really cute, and teaches children that sometimes there's a benefit to only asking for 1 thing. My daughter just loves this book, we read it at least twice a day.

My daughter is almost 7 months and she loves the pictures and the way that we act out the story. It's such an adorable book and I know we will be reading it to her for many years. Please make this into a board book!

Bright illustrations and simple text. My grand-daughter loved it ...over and over again.

This book is so darling and reminds me of my granddaughter. It is realistic, Colorful, Funny and Full of Tender Sweetness at the end. I love it and highly recommend it. The seller shipped quickly and the book was as described.

The media could not be loaded.  I love me a book with a cute cover!!! This was a must in my cart. It is also a cute book with a little message. I love books that have a message for children at the end. Ruby was always wanting one more of everything until she realized that it was better to have one than none. Super cute! My daughter loves reading this book over and over!
