Fantastic Desktop at a great price
Out of the box, this is a contender. According to 3DMark, performed better than 64% of the computers in the market today, and it was apparent why.Intel's new i9 processor, 8 cores hyperthreaded to 16, 1TB M.2 drive (2252 MB/s Read / 2086 MB/s write ), 2T SATA Drive 7200 rpm Seagate Barracuda along with 2 more 3.5" drive bays, power and sata ports (no extra sata cables). 64G of DDR4 RAM,Case is shorter than my taller case, with a beautiful finish. 4 USB3, 2 USB2 on the back (one USB3 shared pins with USB-C port..?Why) and 3 more USB3 on front (another shared). I'm already using all ports. Case has a heat-exhaust fan on top toward the back. Case opens by a pull-plastic on back, and has a power supply unlock and PCI car unlock switch as well. Passed burn-in test nicely.Boots in 2 seconds or less. unlocked network speed in QoS, performs great.Includes a NVidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti card for Gaming. This is probably my favorite line of cards for not-quite high-end graphics. I don't game 50" 4K @240fps video much.. a friend does, though.. and it's impressive.. Disappointed I have to use a USB3 adapter for my third monitor. Both GPUs show available in Task Manager (onboard and NVidia).. It could find the third monitor on both, but neither would activate the display.. I need to test this further...Will update as time goes on. I expect this does firmware updates automatically like my laptop did, which caught me by surprise. So far, everything runs nearly instantaneously. The only issue is the occasional pause of the mouse and keyboard controllers. not sure why this happens yet. Beyond this, my room is up 2°F so far, probably because I am using my old system to back up files to a huge slow drive for the last couple of days..And at such a great price, delivered faster than directly from Dell.

Dell XPS 8930 Special Edition Tower Desktop
My wife's Alien Ware laptop fried itself. I wanted a decent replacement for that because she is a gamer. I had purchased the same profile Dell a few months ago and was beyond happy with its performance. I picked this one up for her as a Birthday/Christmas gift and gave it to her when it came in. She loves the performance of this PC. She now can multitask without jeopardizing performance for her gaming. The specs for this PC are monstrous.
