This is a lovely bowl ..... if it is hand made its worth the cost.....one thing about it ....it is hypnotic to look at....you get drawn into the pattern kind of amazing. So I am not sure putting anything in it to use ..... well I would say this its more a work of art than a bowl to eat out of. I like it I do .....but I wanted a bowl to eat out of. OH well ......its lovely just the same ...

Good product. One of 2 was broken but amazon gladly accepted the return as usual. Got a replacement and more than happy to use them everyday. Especially perfect for Poke bowl or asian style hot soup.

I started making recipes from the Bowl cookbook, and my husband wanted real ramen bowls to go with them. These are beautiful, a nice size, and both dishwasher and microwave safe. And made in Japan, not China. I ended up buying several more.

We absolutely love the whole range of Sendan bowls and plates. The design is timeless and seems to go well with every dish. They stand out for an elegant shape and design and high quality. Out of about 30 Sendan bowls and plates over three orders, one bowl arrived shattered. While they are each individually bubble wrapped, packing multiple ceramic bowls without paper or cardboard padding in the box means likely breakage during shipment.

The prettiest ramen bowls I could have ever imagined. They are made in Japan and were shipped very nicely and securely. I'm so happy with my two purchases!

Bowls are functional, color brilliant and a very nice addition to the dinner table.

I've started collecting various ramen bowls for my Asian receipies. This one is perfectly sized and shaped. It is very high quality.
