I was impressed by this supplement. Truly, I wish I'd discovered Inositol five years ago.The product itself is a very fine powder, and tastes slightly sweet. It dissolves easily in water, meaning that this one of the easiest forms of inositol for your body to absorb.I find that it works very well as an anxiety reducer, and the relaxed feeling it brings me definitely feels amplified when I take more of it (safely, I assure you!). 5 grams is a good baseline supplement, for me, though I know that it's safe to go up to about 20 grams.I'd recommend taking it slow and low, though, and working up to that amount - not that Inositol is dangerous, but I did find myself a little too relaxed after taking 18 grams; I felt great, but couldn't move my unmotivated butt off of the couch! (No, it wasn't anything like a recreational drug, I just was so carefree that I had no motivation, lol)I am personally taking this as a supplement to make sure that my body isn't depleted while I'm taking Adderall, and I'm impressed. Though I will definitely be going through this supplement quicker than, say, potassium or magnesium, I believe that it is worth the price, and is worth the investment if you've the money. I believe that one bag will last me a month and a half with semi-regular supplementing.

In GeneralI ordered this particular brand of inositol because it was highly rated here on Amazon with tons of great reviews. With this information, I trust that the source is legit and that there aren't any obscure fillers in the ingredients. I am confident in saying that this stuff really works, and has helped improve so many things with me. From the very first day I started taking inositol (coupled with Pure Choline DL-Bitartrate Powder) I noticed:- Calmness (I wasn't as impatient as usual).- Less anxiety (my nervousness before work meetings decreased greatly).- Less headaches (I tend to get headaches after most meals, even if what I'm eating is predominantly healthy - inositol helped eliminate them).- Clearing of acne / greasy face skin (my skin feels and looks a lot clearer and the minor acne I had on my upper arms is nearly gone).- I got my period!!! (this is probably the most important factor. I am a woman with pcos with an ovulation cycle of every other month. With the inositol I got my period on the exact same day that I got my period the month prior).- Weight Loss (with diet and exercise I believe the inositol has helped me slash the pounds away).Recommended Use / Dosage for Women with PCOSIf you are a woman with PCOS like me, definitely be cautious about how much you decide to take. I am 5'4 and 180 pounds and the dosage I take works great. I also base my dosage on what other women with PCOS recommend and what other online journals / articles / reviews suggest. What you want to do is first buy the inositol powders (both myo inositol and choline DL Bitartrate inositol) and buy a weight scale (I boughtSmart Weigh GEM20 High Precision Digital Scale). You want to ingest this powder twice a day with water (once in the morning before a meal and once in the evening before a meal). Measure out the following dosage and mix into a glass of water:- 2 grams pure inositol (myo inositol)- 50 mg D inositol (Choline DL-Bitartrate)Because of this supplement, I ovulate every month like clockwork. This is truly a miracle product for women with PCOS. I will write an additional comment in this review in a few months time, to provide an update on if it's still working for me. Basically, if you have PCOS and are skeptical about getting on hardore / expensive meds, give this stuff a try because it might solve your problem :)

The product has no taste and dissolves easily. It does not give me any side effects

I purchased this Inositol powder to replace another one that I purchased previously and ran out of. I was looking through the different manufacturers and found that this brand had a lot of high ratings due to the pure quality of supplements, and lower prices. I do like the powder in a pouch, rather than a large container that's hard to fit in crowded cabinets sometimes - and its easier to get the powder out of a soft pouch, rather than try to fit your hand down in a half empty tub with a narrow opening! I purchased this to help decrease the amount of finger skin picking that I do, and that my 9 yr old son does. With my first bottle (different brand), I followed the dosing instructions of starting small, and slowly increasing the amounts, but I started to get headaches, so I quit taking it. However, my son, who was 8 at the time, seemed to be responding pretty well to it. His finger picking did decrease with a very minimal dosage. That was the only change I noticed in him. I will try this again for myself to see if it works for me as well with this new product. I gave 4 out of 5 stars because its too soon to tell of any changes -- but so far I do like the customer service, the price and the packaging.
