Works really well
I was using a Festool power sander sanding dozens of sheets of 12”x24” plywood which is only 1/8”thick. This Powertec non slip mat made the job easier by helping to provide a non slip surface. My workbench for this task was a Kreg workstation and for warped pieces of material I used the Zreg Max clamp to easily hold the material. Of course, the workbench surface has to be clean for the adhesion to work.

excellent holding power --- very useful
I put planks on this mostly for sanding but have also used it for hand planing. Works very well. You DO need to avoid buildup of lots of very fine dust on the (reduces the holding power) and you should swipe off the workbench before putting it down.

Product stinks to high heaven
Product does what it is suppose to do but has a horrific smell let air out outside before use!!!

I was doing a woodworking project that required a lot of sanding. Prior to my purchase I was holding the part down with one hand and sanding with the other hand. When this item was delivered, I immediately put in on my workbench. With this pad I was able to sand without the part moving all over the bench. This is not an item most people probably have an every day use for, but when you have sanding to do you'll be glad you have it.This pad was inexpensive and it works very well by holding the part from moving.

Great for bench top use.
I got these, 2 of them, for the beach surface when working on picture frames. They work very well. Take them out of the package right away and let them settle flat. Easily removable when not in use.

Great for wood carvers
I cut it into smaller pieces and shared with our weekly wood carvers. We can comfortably put our carving into this nonstick pad when chiseling so the item doesn’t slip. Compact lightweight and easy to transport to and from woodcarving group sessions.
