Frommer's Utah (Complete Guide)

Best and Clearest Maps to Follow
I have visited Utah in the past; Salt Lake City to be exact. I went with no guide book and had to get around town on my own. I have wanted to go back ever since my last trip. But what other places to visit? The Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, for sure, but I know that there is so much more in Utah that I should see. This beautiful book has given me the answers I’ve been looking for! It helped me put together an itinerary that will allow me to see a lot of things and not spend my next trip to Utah running around too much. I didn’t notice the mistake pointed out by the other Amazon customer, but I would guess it’s the only mistake in the guide. Frommer’s has the only travel maps that I am ever able to follow! They are clear and perfectly numbered with easy-to-read itineraries. I know the maps are accurate (having followed them while using Frommer’s guide books in Philadelphia, Washington, DC, and New York City, to name just a few places), as are the prices and other details listed in the guide. In fact, I was able to put together a budget for my Utah trip using this guide, and I know I can stick to it, because Frommer’s lists actual prices, and doesn’t just give vague symbols. A really terrific guidebook!

Great info.
Planning a trip to Utah and the book has given us great ideas. It might be a bit out of date with some restaurants and places to stay but still good vase knowledge.

Love this book!
I have been dreaming about going to Utah and I can honestly say that this book will help me make my dreams come true. It's loaded with info on the best hotels, hottest restaurants, and coolest experiences that I wouldn’t have known about, in the national parks especially, if I hadn’t bought this guide (and I also bought the Fodor’s book and the Moon book, and have done research online, but this guide is much more detailed than those, with more actionable advice). I also really appreciate how the book brings to life the history and natural history of the state. I've got it packed for my upcoming trip (have thrown away the other guides) and will consult it at historic sites because I know there is usually more interesting info in a Frommer's guide book than you can find at any site.

Needed Better Proof-reading
Planning a trip to Utah, I bought this book to add to my collection of pre trip reading. Looks to have a lot of useful information, but seeing a glaring mistake on the map stating that WY is south of UT, fails to give me confidence that the information in the book will be correct. I will be sure to double check it against others. I expected more from such a well-known name.

Well Worth It
Compared to the cost of your trip, these books are a trivial cost. If they give you just one additional insight or facilitate just one additional special moment or experience for your vacation, then they are well worth it.
