European Gourmet Bakery: Organics Vanilla Cooked Pudding & Pie Filling Mix (2 X 3.5 Oz)

I swear, after I tried this pudding years ago, I never went back to any other. This is so rich and flavorful. I use it for my banana pudding. It tastes like heaven.

Surprised how good it tasted.

This was delivered early today and I’m thrilled. This is my favorite pudding. I often find it at Whole Foods but they were out when I last visited the store. So great to be able to get it through Amazon. It tastes fantastic and is oh-so-creamy. I make it with skim milk and half-and-half rather than whole milk.

It has a real good kind of taste for pudding, better than anything else you'd get at the store, but I have one major complaint, it would have tasted much better if it wasn't so sweet!Each package makes 4 servings, you use two cups of milk for the whole thing, each serving has 19g of sugar, so you have a total of almost 20 teaspoons of sugar for two cups of milk! These people must have been taking drugs that deaden their taste buds if they think such a ludicrous amount of sugar is needed to make this taste good, half the amount of sugar would probably be perfect.

One of my grandsons is allergic to dairy and can use only soy milk. Therefore he cannot eat ice cream so we make him "soy pudding cones". This is delicious cooked pudding that WILL thicken in soy milk....most packaged puddings do not. It is pricey to order when I am not near a Whole Foods, but Worth is when the other kids are eating ice Cream!!

I love eating vegan key lime pie and this worked really great for that!

Use to buying German products for quality

This is good pudding. I usually add 2 tsp of granulated tapioca to the mix so it does not separate after it cools. I also add a dash of himalayan salt.
