What I love about the paper
This paper is very thin, and the actual packaging doesn't say "acid free," but I will trust Amazon on this. What I love about the paper, and you may not, is that if you mark on it with a fountain pen, the ink spreads. So if you move fast the lines stay thin, but as you slow down, the lines become thick and rough. It makes absolutely great drawings. Felt tip pens act in the same way. If you're ready for a little excitement in your line, this is the pad to get!

Good paper
Paper is stronger than most rice paper. The pad is well consrtucted with a still cardboard back which makes this easy to carry around and work with. Absorbent with little buckling. I use this paper mainly for charcoal drawing and printing.

LOVE THIS!
Very nice and easy runs through my large format printer easily with no issues. I am a graphic designer and I print my designs out for use in decoupage and other applications. My ONLY gripe is with the binding of the pad. The glue binding is thick and sometimes lumpy spilling onto the sheets. You have to be very careful tearing out or you can lose a good portion of the sheet which will always have a jagged edge. I usually have to use a large straight ruler and using an exacto knife, cut the sheets out manually if I want a precise neat edge.

Nice paper for watercolor
I’m always trying to find a good rice paper for my watercolor paintings. I want it somewhat transparent with rice paper texture that can withstand painting gently on it. This one checks all the boxes for me.

I made origami masks out of this paper. Be very careful when you tear the paper out. Tear one sheet at a time.

Purchased this after reading other reviews and was happy that I purchased . I was able to cut one whole sheet in half to get two letter sized paper and this worked very well. The paper is good quality and I will continue to purchase.
