The Holland Family Saga Part Eight:: Definition of a Boss

I tell you guys, I'm a fan for life. Deliberately tried to read at a steady pace in order to savor the story for as long as I could, but to no avail plus I knew better. I teared up in chapter 1 during their uniting at the airport and was non-stop from that point. Part 8 did not disappoint and I felt all kinds of emotions. I laughed, cried, I was even in awe. I certainly hope Marajumya stick it to Lisa Vanguard real good in the next episode. I realize he got 56+ years but he can still reach out and tap that a$$ from inside. I enjoyed all the characters old & new. I see the gangster in Walee and wonder how Malik will fair in the next installment. Toodie got it good! Maybe Qman will be sent to the same prison as Asa Spade. Lawd knows with what the Holland's are about to embark on they're going to need all the help/info they can get. Reynard, Chablis, the Germans, I can go on and on but ima wait eagerly and see what Mr. BLACK delivers next. I know he will not disappoint.

Wow, you know when a writer can write! When they take non-fiction and add in true fiction, that is what Clever Black is all about! I was trying not to finish this book, but from page one I kept reading! To have an author to go over and beyond to please his readers is worthy of the cost for what I paid for this book! The Holland Family saga needs to be on the New York City Best Seller List for the century! I will ride the Holland train for life! If you are ready to read an emotional, heart wrenching, number one best seller of the year! Check out what Clever is writing! The Holland's needs to be in the movies! I will be sitting front row to ensure that Clever gets his just do! Ben, Naomi, Dawk, Samantha, Walee, Kimi, Koko, and many more will have you reading like you are watching a movie! Clever got a story to tell and I am HOOKED! Well done my friend! WELL DONE!

This was another great story about the Holland family. It had many twist and turns like the books before it. It is so many characters in this series I'm surprised the author could keep up. But he did and made every character come to life. My only criticism would be the editing. There were too many typos and fragmented sentences for me. And some times when he's referring to one character, all of a sudden he's calling the character by the wrong name. Or referring to he as a she and she as a he. It makes you have to stop and re-read what was just said. Very distracting, especially at the good parts. But other than the poor editing, I would say the story is good and I will be waiting for the next installment.

I give this book 4 stars because it was not as good as the others before it. There were some parts of the book that did not hold my attention. Don't misunderstand me, ALL of Mr. Black's books are fantastic!....This one just wasn't as good. Love your work Mr. Black, can't wait for part nine, ten and so on.

OMG! Just finished this book! So good! My nerves are on edge in anticipation of part 9. Clever, please, don't hurt anyone in the Holland Family. I have this dreadful feeling. My heart is in my hands right now. My nerves are wrecked. I love your style of writing. Please hurry up with part 9. I need to get this over with! My anticipation of part 9 is at an all time high!

Clever Black has caused me to write my first review ever! I am a very big reader. I can read anything, fiction, nonfiction, books written by authors of any race, religion or sexusl orientation but this saga hasjjs made mea fan for life. I was at myson's soccer game so engrossed in book 8 that I missed the teams first goal of the season. I actually finished the book while the game was being played and billeted out a loud scream saying no no no and everybody looked at me wondering what was wrong? The only thing I could say to my partner sitting next to me, is the book is over! Mr. Black please don't make me wait two years for vol. 9. I'm praying that someone will have the sense enough to invest and turn The Holland Family Saga into a motion picture. Bless you for sharing m)azng gift.

Mr. Clever Black has done it again, he has given us a slam dunk, grand slam, whatever you want to call it. He makes you feel like you're right there as different scenarios are taking place. So many twist and turns. This book will have you talking to yourself. It just keeps getting better and better with each installment. I need book nine like yesterday. Thank you Mr. Black for another hit. If I could give you more than Five Stars I would have.

Another great edition to the Holland family saga. Truly captivating and keeps you in suspense of what dramas are to unfold next. Looking forward to the next instalment!
