This car is a great deal! My daughter was only 8 months old when I got this for her/me (#Lets be Honest). I asked the question on Amazon if you can use different voltage batteries, and nobody responded. I am happy to report that use of 3 cell Lithium batteries works OK, it's a slight undervoltage from what the lead acid has, so the car proportionally drives slower. Its like losing the high speed 3 and gaining a new low speed. This works great but is a bit too slow. Also as the lithium gets down to its lower voltage of 11.1 V it is too low for the the car to function. You lose range because the car thinks the battery is dead when it is not. This half success encouraged me to get a 4 cell 8,000mAH lithium battery instead ($52). 4s Lithium fully charged is 16.8V and dead at 14.8V. So even at dead, it's more voltage that a fully charged lead acid...So I was a bit nervous about this. But I'm excited to report it works GREAT. It does drive faster. It's very like gaining a speed 4 and the low speed is like a speed 2. This is perfect for adult walking pace. Speed 4 is like turbo charge, its awesome. I will admit it is quite a bit harder to steer accurately with a 4s Lipo because the steering motor is over voltage too so it is aggressive, and when doing so at higher speeds can be aggressive turns and frustrating to keep straight. Range is phenomenal too. Last night took it on a paved walking path of 3.2 miles with some very substantial hills and it went up them at a nice pace in high speed only used 55% of the battery. Going down hills is hard because it runs much faster even in low speed when it coasts down pavement. Motors are still working fine so I think they can handle it after this test. The car fully loaded with our diaper bag and other things probably weighed near a 5 year old (45 lbs) of load. But this was on pavement. It's possible going up long steep hills in grass at high speed might overheat the motors, so beware if you do this yourselves in that scenario. I'm not too concerned because replacement motors are available if needed. Range with the stock lead acid is about 1 hour driving maybe 1 mile paved. Range with 3s lithium 3,000mAH is about 45 mins driving 3/4 mile, paved. Range with 4s 8,000 mAH lipo is about 2 hours and about 5 miles I estimate, paved.Steering at the 4s voltages was so difficult I think I will consider buying a cheap used power wheels for $50 or less and modify it to us RC car components. RC steering servo and RC speed controller, RC car remote control to make this easier to use while my daughter is too young to steer. Then when she gets older I will go back to this car so she can learn to steer. Not sure haven't decided yet, but I probably have until shes at least 2 before she can steer and enjoy driving herself.I hope this review helped someone else like me. This is a great value toy. I highly recommend.

This car is the coolest car for a kid. My husband was able to assemble it in 30 minutes, and the material is great. The style it’s exactly how it’s described and the functions work. My son is three years old and he is able to drive the car. It comes with a remote control, and this is give it a plus star. All the lights turn out and even comes with music! I would recommend this car to anyone looking for an elector kids car.

Shifter knob broke, battery didnt last 4 months, speaker began to go out, back lights started falling out, fake wheel cover in the rear broke off, the use of this car was no more than 8 months with no use in winter it was stored in garage. I am now using my cordless 18V Ridgid tool batteries to run this car however it only goes foreward now cause shifter is broken....UPDATE: wheel motors have now burned out, i now have a gaint paper weight..UPDATE 2, 23JAN21: They have offered me money to pull my review off the product to keep their ratings on the product high. I have refused, also they blame their manufacture that it was their fault for the defects.

We bought this in September 2019 for our two boys (3 &2) for Christmas (keeping it hidden was not easy). My husband and I read reviews on tons of cars before we bought this one. However, I didn't notice there was/is no Warranty information, nor customer service phone # or anyone to reach about issues if they arise (and they have). Upon googling uenjoy you're basically redirected to Amazon. When you click the [warranty] information button it says to see the manufactures website or contact them. Well if they don't have a website, or a phone number then they don't have to be accountable when it dies within a year... so anyway. It ran great until it stopped charging. The board is under the controls on the dash - the port just stopped working. If I wiggle the cord I can get it to show a red light (indicates the battery isn't fully charged) but it won't stay and is only showing green (indicates full charge or in this case that the cord is plugged in but not plugged into the car that tells the cord it needs juice).So here we are, I have some pretty sad little tykes, no way to charge the car. I wanted to contact customer service and see if we can send the cpu board in for a new one (it's pretty small/easy to take out ) but alas I cannot find anyway to contact anyone. So I am writing a poor review and hoping maybe someone notices and says something like, "Sorry for you're trouble, please let us assist you to replace the bad board." .. or if not then I suppose it's a cute paper weight I can let the baby crawl on.

We wanted a ride-on car that would drive easily in the grass, and this is it! It has large tires that really give good traction. I couldn't believe this car even has a suspension system and a remote control for us parents! It has working headlights and the front grill lights up too, which is really neat! There are even 4 back lights over the seats that flash different colors (you can turn them off it you want to). The car makes a really cool start up noise, like it's revving up its engine and you can play music, stories, and so much more with just a touch of a button! And of course, there's even a horn! Our daughter is also really going to love that she can store some toys in the back tire as it opens up to reveal a secret hiding storage spot (shown in my pictures)! This car is awesome!! They really thought of everything when they designed and made this ride-on! Our daughter is going to have the best Christmas ever with this beauty!
