I shopped around and considered other bowls that were a couple of ounces bigger and some smaller.It came down to size and space. I needed all 4 bowls to stack and fit in a specific area on a shelf. I measured before I ordered and per online measurements, determine they should fit. And when the bowls arrived I was pleased that the bowls did indeed form one stack and fit in the designated area.These bowls are the perfect size for everyday soups and I’m looking for a to making French onion soup and broiling the cheese to get it melty and browned.

I bought these because I had a huge bag of onions and wanted to try my hand at French onion soup. They’re the perfect size, they survived the oven and a broil setting, and the little handles either side make for easy transfer. And they’re easily stackable. They weren’t too hard to clean either, survived the dishwasher.

They are very sturdy, pretty, and a fabulous size. I have already used them for French onion soup and I love the handles.

Arrived in 1 piece, well packaged. Exactly the size I pictured. Hopefully, no more burned finger tips.

Keeps stew warm with easy to hold handles. Better than a standard bowl which is hard to hold.

Perfect size for serving stews, small individual casseroles, or to fill cups with soup for 1- 4 people (package contains 4 big individual bowls with 2 handles per bowl). Great for toaster oven baking or microwaving. Made of sturdy material (stoneware?) but each bowl isn't too heavy for my elders to carry in kitchen. Am planning to buy more sets to give as gifts in future.

I bought these for making pot pies. Perfect size, easy to use and really easy to clean. I have bought several sets and them to others who want to make pot pies.

Handles make the bowl easier to use

After reading other peoples reviews of cheaper soup bowls that look the same as these but are £6 cheaper than these ones but after reading there reviews in that they came mostly broken as they were wrapped in just some bubble wrap as of to protect then whilst in transit but i had decided to go for these more expensive ones just in case they were boxed up properly as to which they were as of with the photos of it all from me as to which they were boxed up super properly as to which the bowls are of great quality & look a very white colour too which the bowls do stack perfectly on top of one another too & without any wobbling on them too.

Perfect for any dish you might want to put under a grill or in the oven. Really good size for an individual portion of soup/casserole etc.Very solid and beautifully crafted. The handles are well placed, and a good size to grab with mitt or tea towel when hot.We bought them for soup especially french onion (which they are the perfect size for) but we’ve used them since for other things e.g. as small serving dishes.

Great bowls I purchased for french onion soup that turned out wellThey are big bowls great for individual cottage pie or shepherds pie or pies with pastries on the topI’ve also done pasta dishes with melted cheese on top under the grillDefinitely happy with these

As a convenience cook I wanted a non-plastic soup bowl that was large enough for a 400g tin of soup which these easily hold. Quite thick as take 3 minutes to microwave contents so would probably be good for conventional oven use too but not tried out yet. Attractive colour, stackable and stain free after using a few times. I like the handles for good grip when contents are hot. Delivered safely within 24 hours in very strong, suitable packaging.

Definitely at a lower price point would be great *and* if it was larger. It’s as stated but it’s not got the capabilities of holding even the average canned soup amount or ramen/plus water.No point to it unless you like it for cereal or ice cream.It’s definitely less than the lowest capacity, due to volume increases as you heat liquids.
