It works well. I use this almost daily. The tips are accurate with their hardness. Definitely recommend

Helps determine if you have a “soft” or “hard” concrete surface to grind. May save you money by finding out what diamonds to use on your floor grinder to polish concrete

This is a great kit and really has helped me to identify a lot of minerals that I have found, at least within .5 accuracy. Unfortunately, it is the only game in town so you will over pay for it if you want it. This kit should sell for about, maybe, $80.00 tops. However, it does the job and, hopefully over time, I can justify the cost by the amount of use that I get out of it. It did arrive missing a magnet that was supposed to be included. That and the cost caused me to deduct a star from the rating. Hopefully some competition will arrive to get the price down to a more realistic level.

Decent kit here. The kit is the cheapest thing known to man though. I don’t know why they used this plastic that stinks and isn’t molded well. The kit works good though.
