This Therapy Light is fantastic. It has more Lumens than the other lamps, 12,00 lumens, and is very bright. The brightness can also be adjusted if you don't want it so bright. It is very light weight and quite large--larger than any of the other therapy lights that I have used. Can be used vertically or horizontally. It has a timer. This light helps reduce my depression. I use it in the morning for 30 minutes, but it can be used longer. I sit about 18 inches from it. It can be used on it's stand or hung from the wall. I am very impressed with it. Because it is lightweight and compact, I can place it back into the box for traveling. It is very easy to use. Just plug it in, turn on the switch on the right side, and choose your settings.

I purchased this lamp because I'm very sensitive to sunlight and have a hard time waking up on cloudy/rainy days and I live in an area where that's what you get 3/4 of the year. I put it in front of my window and I turn it on when I wake up in the morning. I usually don't have much time in the mornings before I get out for work, but even 10-15 mins of exposure totally wakes my brain up. I like that the lamp has different shades (from natural light color to florescent)and different brightness levels. I have not used it long enough to see if it has long term effects, but so far I'm happy with my purchase. I definitely makes a difference. I highly recommend getting this lamp for anyone looking to boost their morning mood.

Thanks so much for replacing my defective light therapy lamp, I’ve now given the new one a go for long enough to write a review of its benefit. Seems to boost my spirits enough that my 12 hour work days without seeing any daylight are not unbearable, sleeping better, less anxiety and excuse the pun, a light heart. Great to know you stand by your product.

The light was sufficiently bright and easy to use. The shape, size and weight are ideal. Unfortunately, it stopped working (for no reason I could figure out) after having it about about 6 weeks, averaging about 30 minutes of use per day. There does not appear to be a way to return or exchange the light now that the Amazon return window has closed.

My daughter and I called this lamp our happy lamp. I woke up with it, and I went to sleep reading next to it. I did at least 2-3 hours daily. That is how much I need in order to stay energetic and happy. My friend told me about it and it was the best investment. Seriously I also doubted it in the beginning but it really works. I have one at home and one in the office. I always use the brightest white setting. However, there are dimmer yellow light as well. The one in the office was my first one, it does not have timer and only have 3 light settings, This one does have timers preset and also the lights can be adjusted to any brightest in between.

Seems to work! I definitely feel better when using it. I sit close to it when reading or doing homework. It has a stand in the back so it stays upright. The only drawback is that with the two setting "warmth" mode, it's hard to tell the difference between the two. (There aren't buttons except for power, you just have to push the icon on the plastic to change it and it's not totally clear if you've pressed it or how many times.)

This really works! I turn it on first thing in the morning while I drink my coffee. After 20 min it goes off and I feel better. I really do. I think i have more energy and dont need a nap in 4 hours. If i get sleepy i turn it back on. I live in Oregon thr capital of winter sadness. This is really helping me.

I ordered this lamp for my Son for Christmas. It arrived in time but; it was not put in to another box to protect the delicate lamp. The corners were smashed in on each end and it was in it's original manufacturers box with Amazon's order information, shipping information and tracking information stickers stuck all over the box! They were placed over important information that a person should read before unpacking and using the lightbox. If you tried to take the stickers off gently they pulled the manufacturers writing off with it. As almost all Amazon orders are placed in a box for shipping, I didn't bother paying the $3.99 for the gift wrap to hide what could be a gift. Luckily my Son wasn't home when it arrived as it was placed on our porch for all to see. Double luck that the porch pirates weren't in our neighborhood at that time. My Son did try it out on Christmas day for 15 minutes and he played with all the settings which worked perfectly. He now has it programmed with ALEXA to come on in the morning and stay on for a 15 minute session. Hopefully this will help him with are dark and rainy Winters. A+ for the lamp and an F for shipping.
