This is the perfect size. When the phone is not on it, there is not some huge object sitting in the car, it is fairly innocuous.In this case, the first attachment failed after a few months, so attached the second one that was attached. One thing I did notice is that I took the phone straight off the mount and the magnetic hold is so strong that I think it weakened the bond to the dashboard.The second mount lasted about the same amount of time, but this time I always held the mount when taking the phone off.I contacted the company about it and they said they would take care of it, which was great. But what made it more amazing is they sent a whole new unit and I was just expecting the small circular 3m glue pads.Very good service and way beyond expectation. If possible, would even pay more to have more pads in the box as I think the glue is the weak link, but the product is solid, heavy and durable.Great company.

I so appreciate this phone mount. Even if you do not have a magnetic case, it comes with a magnet to adhere to your current case, so you can make it work. I have now purchased two of these. It can mount almost anywhere, and the swivel allows you to maneuver your phone to meet your needs. Super strong bond to both the car and to the magnet portion of my phone case.

Good product. Strong magnet. Sturdy platform. Was excited to try it on my Z flip 3 samsung phone, but will not work. The bottom of the phone has the wireless magnet, so you cannot place the magnet on this side if you still want to use wireless charging. The top part of the phone is too small to accommadate the larger magnet, covers the flash and the case will not remain in place, popps off. The same can be said for the small magnet, which is actually thicker. My case keeps popping off on either the top or bottom. Placing the magnet directly on the phone itself will not fix the issue unfortunately. Thank you to the company for a refund/discount back on this item. I will definately use on my "non-flip" phone next time. If you have a standard,non flip style, give it a try, you will love this in your car. So great and small, but powerful.

*(SEE UPDATE below)* 5 star for new product received *I love how simple this cell phone holder is. It doesn't budge either even while typing in directions or texts. It takes up very little space on the dashboard but you have to be mindful of where you put it bc it won't adhere to everything. In the heat, forget it, it will fall off the dash multiple times even without the phone.. I would say this needs some improvement. I hate when it falls off and gets dust n grim on the sticky part then I have to reattach and it is never as strong as it once was. Plus it does not come with any extra stickers so your kinda SOL. Overall I'm 50/50 on it. I do use it everytime I'm in the car but need to get more stickers for a backup during these 95 degree days 😳**UPDATE** - considering the persistence of the seller lol I am updating my review since I received a whole new product from the seller at no cost. This was a surprise to me & greatly appreciated. The new product is holding up well and I've used it a handful of times already. It seems much sturdier & although not what I originally wanted definitely seems more practical overall. It is much better then having to hold my phone in my hand or cup holder! Thanks to the seller actually reading my review and following up several times.

Comes with multiple metal plates allowing me to use it with multiple devices (cellphone, rearview camera display, etc). Stong magnet - device stays put even on rough roads but removes without too much effort. My dash is not smooth but the base adheres string inspite of that.

I tried all three shapes/sized magnets which I placed on my telephone case. Each magnet sticks to the base which is attached to the dashboard of the car, but will not stick to the phone case when I remove it from the car phone holder. When I remove the phone from the base the square and round magnets are pulled off the back of the telephone case sticking to the Humixx base holder. Also, I have watched videos, looked at the directions and am still left confused if the white transparent sticker needs to be used. It did not stick to the phone case either. I tried it everyway I could imagine and it still failed. The 8 magnets are so strong, it pulled the magnet placed on the case off and renders the phone useless for the purpose it is intended for. It is also so low profile it does not work well on my dashboard with an IPhone 8 plus. Very, very disappointed. I would like to return it but I cant get the magnetic car phone Humixx base off the dashboard.
