This is the same hose I received as dockline chafe guards purchased from other sources. This however, costs less than 1/10 of the cost per linear foot than the stuff sold as "chafe guard". They have different diameters to accommodate different rope sizes. I secure with whipping twine or zip ties. Great value!

I purchased an oiless water pump to drain my 10,000 gal pool every so often when the chemicals get out of balance. The pump had an adapter from its 1-1/2" outlet down to 1". I could also go down to a 3/4" garden hose, but the resultant decrease in GPM was not what I wanted. I got this 1" hose (32') to go from the pump to the back yard and was pleasantly surprised to find the hose came with a set of bayonet style connectors & clamps. I snipped off a few inches of the hose to make a quick-connect adapter to my pump (one hose clamp was needed for the pump), and the pool was drained in about 5 hours. Unfortunately for me - 32' was not quite enough (I should have gotten the 60' version). I had NO hesitation in picking up a second 32' hose for subsequent use to get the water further away from the house.

Great hose, light weight and durable. Be aware that getting the right sized fittings is costly and hard to find. Best to get the longer version with the hose fittings included. Also, a hose this thick in diameter is very stiff when pressurized and very, very heavy. I cut a 10’ length and it was dang heavy and hard to move. It’s not ideal for a garden hose replacement, more for moving large volumes of water.

If your going to have any runs with turns or corners this hose is not for you, it only works well with straight runs

Very light weight easy to roll up and store, will update later as for longevity wise. So far so good
