Kaiyodo Danboard Mini Figure

I recall seeing this little guy in lots of desktop backgrounds a few years back, and by chance, I learned this thing's name half a year back and was finally able to buy my own. Amazon has a dozen or so types for sale, but I think this one is the best bang for your buck. This version might not have any text or markings on it, but it still has the stand, the light-up eyes (with included batteries), and the adorable packaging. All this and it still goes for $20-$30 less than many of the others with the same features. The head is removable for replacing the batteries. It comes off by just pulling the figure apart. The stand is easily attachable and detachable. It's very posable; particularly the arms. The leg that goes on the stand doesn't move too much, but it's all right. Please buy this little guy and give him a home. :) Maybe even make your own desktop backgrounds with it.

Good figure, head easily removable, and the battery compartment cap doesn’t really stay locked.

Don't get me wrong, these things are as cute as a litter of kittens, but there are many flaws in the one I got. Obvious revoltech joint finicky aside, the first thing I noticed was that there was a gash on his hand, as if someone with a small screwdriver jammed it there. There's also a few scratches, like one right above his left eye, permanently giving him a questioning face. When I removed the little plastic under his head and I tried to turn it on, it didn't work. Upon further investigation, I realized it was the batteries. One of them had that weird green stuff that old batteries would have. Aside from other nitpicks like some uneven paint here and there, it still suits the roll of being cute doing cute poses with the other cute danboards I have.

I use the danboard as a model for photography and it makes for a really nice subject to focus on. Kinda hard to move the arms and legs and remove the stand. Other than that I really like it and would buy the other models too.

Just what I hoped for. Nice size and movable parts for taking photographs. It does not fit easily in the stand - but it does stand very well without it so I don't care about the stand. Arrived in very good time in good order.

Have wanted one for almost 10 years now. Price was too good to not succumb to. Item was better than expected, shipping was superb! Arrived two weeks sooner than anticipated.

Looks exactly like advertised and arrived in very good condition. Very happy with it for how low the price was. Well worth for me.

This cool little Danbo character's eyes lights up and comes with its own pedestal. The figure itself feels weighty, not cheap. The head, arm and leg movements are nice and smooth. The head can come off to replace the watch batteries for his light up eyes.An added little plus is that the box it comes in has cut outs that match Danbo's facial features.All in all, it makes a great little adornment to your desk.
