At the time of purchase it was the best value for money. The taste is usual iodine, not worse than that, but not a candy. One does not need to drink this stuff - it can be administered through transcutaneous absorption quite effectively and safely.

Good product but more leaks than gets used, maybe new packing would be good manufacturers..

The iodine delivered in the bottles is as stated and is high quality.Oddly the pipette is external to the bottle, and both the bottle and pipette are wrapped in bubblewrap. Having ordered three separate times, sometimes they turn up in small plastic bags, sometimes they don't.Fitting the pipette (which looks like it should have already been in the bottle) is a bit difficult as it still has it's bottom plastic seal that conflicts with the bottle's pre-existing plastic seal.One also has to remove a 'plastic dripper' of sorts from the bottle top itself before they can install the pipette to it, which can result in one becoming covered in iodine (which is a type of dye and can stain clothes, so beware). The quality of the iodine however is so good it eclipses the packaging issues.It is worth noting that people who intend to take iodine as a supplement run the risk of taking too much, as even a single drop greatly exceeds the recommended daily intake, especially given the purity of 15% (most iodine sources are 5%). It's highly advisable to therefore consult with a medical professional prior to taking this.

The reason for this review is simply the packaging not the product. The rubber top of the glass pipette has perished and the iodine bottle is not sealed so don't feel its OK to uk anymore which is a shame as almost full.

You will cause a lot of damage if you ingest it use it topically.

After reading how iodine has great benefits for you and most people actually lack it, and also having a problem with my thyroid and reading how this could possibly help I ordered straight away.I first started taking it one drop in some drink and progressing to about 3 drops.I also one day put some drops on my wrist to see how quickly my body absorbed it. After carrying on using this product for over 2 weeks and just keep reading about Iodine I came across a few articles and people saying that if your taking it for thyroid reasons to actually put the drops of iodine on to the area of where your thyroid is located so I did and I instantly felt my neck feel tight and felt a burning sensation I kept checking it with a mirror and couldn’t see anything wrong so tried to not take much notice I did this before I went to bed so I just tried to ignore it and go to sleep and to be honest I thought I was just getting in my own head.The next morning when I woke up I see straight away that the iodine had actually burnt my neck and I was shocked I looked into this to see if Iodine can do this, especially because it’s something that you can take by mouth and to my surprise you actually can you can have a chemical reaction the photo I uploaded is a few days later so doesn’t look as aggressive as when I first see it.so this is just to warn others to be careful when using this product I am disappointed as I really was hoping this was going to help me but after this happening I stoped using immediately and find it quite worrying that something you can take by your mouth can actually burn you!So please use this with caution.
