Goodnight, Good Dog Carl Board Book (Good Dog Carl Collection)

Beautifully illustrated little narrative, leaves imagination to make the story
I adore the Carl books. I ordered a lot of them for my grandchildren since I will be getting my own “Carl” in November.

Adorable Book!
Wonderful series about Carl and Madeleine growing up together and having adventures. My granddaughters love all of the Carl books and the illustrations are simply beautiful. The wordless pages encourage children to interpret the story as they "see" the adventures unfold. I love to hear my granddaughters "read" the books aloud.

As always, a beautiful book
I don't think I could say anything bad about the Carl line of books. I started out with Good Dog Carl back in 1992, with my 1st Rottweiler, and instantly fell in love with the beautiful illustrations and adorable story lines. This book was just as adorable.I stopped buying the books for some reason in the late '90's and had no idea how many there are. I thought I had purchased all there was. So now I am catching up on purchasing the books, ( even though I lost my last Rottie in 2011) and am also purchasing the board books for my 3 yr old great niece.

Beautiful art work & story
I had all these books for my kids and over the years I had lost some of them. I wanted to get them to have them again. I owned Rottweilers for many years and these are wonderful books, even for adults.

You’ll want Carl as your child’s babysitter!
Beautifully illustrated and a sweet story of the love between a dog and his human charge. Carl always has the very best adventures. A tribute to this amazing breed of dogs.

What if the dog was your babysitter?
Fun classic wordless book. Excellent for language development as the “reader” must create his/her own story. The absurdity of a dog as the babysitter is very engaging. My granddaughter (aged 3 yrs 9 months) enjoys casting her own dog as Carl.
