TL/DR? - Cheap tapes, but they work really well!I have always been a bit wary of buying non-genuine tapes for my P-Touch printers. I have an old P-Touch printer that has a built in keyboard and no computer interface and a modern wireless P-Touch printer that connects to a computer so you can print graphical labels.Because I have two printers that have specific requirements for their tapes, I have always purchased the genuine Brother P-Touch TZe tapes, just to ensure that they will be guaranteed to be compatible with the printers.I ran out of 12mm "White on Clear" tape and I urgently needed more so that I could finish a job I was doing. "No problem" I thought, "I'll log on to Amazon, they will have the genuine ones in stock" - WRONG! Amazon did not have the genuine ones in stock, in fact they hard hardly any TZe tapes in stock, so I had no choice but to consider using compatible tapes for the first time.So, I browsed what was available for Prime "Get it tomorrow" and only one seller had the 12mm White on Clear available. So it wasn't a case of making a choice, it was basically a case of just buy what was available.So, the tapes arrived and I expected them to be poor quality. I expected the printers to reject them - but when I opened the packet, I saw 3 tapes that had decent packaging and labelling on them and on removing one from the packet, it looked like a well made copy. I put it in the printer and the printer didn't complain. I sent a test label from my computer to the printer and it printed the label. I then printed the proper labels that I needed and I expected the printer to fail to print at some point, but it did not. All labels printed. The next task was to apply them to what they needed to go on. I expected the tapes to be not very sticky and to fall off, but they have a good stickiness which is on par with the genuine tapes. Almost 2 weeks have passed since I printed the labels and stuck them on the items they needed to go on. They are still stuck fast and you can see no difference between the genuine Brother labels and these much cheaper copies.So, I am converted. In future I will buy the Xemax copies and save a few quid in the process!

I've found some white text tapes have a line down the middle, guess because they have been poorly stored. But these were all good.Id buy again. Thanks

A great product, as it doesn't jam inside machine and yet produces a good quality label.

I usually go for black on white when labelling, but for black plugs white on clear is a great contrast. Ever since getting hold of my Brother labeller I've been churning them out week on week. They are great for ensuring that you don't pull the wrong plug out, and I have all my tool boxes labelled so I never pick up a drill when looking for a sander.These compatible labels fit perfectly in the Brother and I can find no difference either in the manufacture or their performance compared to the originals. The backing is no less fiddly to peel off and they seem to adhere just as well. The print is just the same too, though of course this is dictated by the labelling machine rather than the tape.They are much better value than Brother originals, but just as capable.

Nice tapes that have had no jams or issues in my PT-1000. The rear has a line down the middle to aid removing the backing and they stick well.I've used these to print out MOT and tax reminders on my car windscreen. Reverse the text and stick inside and it's easy to read and plan when these bills are due. Haven't faded in sunlight after a couple of weeks.

Work like they should do arrived on time. Seem fine but not used to much yet
