TefalFV2663 Ultraglide Anti-scale Steam Iron, 2500 W, Purple

Great iron, if it has one downfall it’s the length of the cord, states 3m but is only about 1m.

Bought to replace iron that had a soleplate covered in a sticky mess. I now believe that this was and is due to the use of too much fabric conditioner. Iron operates well we have very hard water so I clean the filters but - every time I use it the first two minutes that horrible chalky limescale comes out on the clothes. My remedy is that I iron a clean tea towel for the initial period and allow the limescale to purge. In steam mode the water reservoir empties quickly so you need a filled 1 litre plastic measuring jug on hand to keep topping up easy. The iron is well balanced and the chord (so far) does not get wound up and tangled. The chord also wraps around the base very easily and neatly for storage.

This is a nice iron. I haven’t had it long enough to test the anti-scale feature. Depending where you can ‘do’ your ironing the power cord may be a bit short.

This is a great iron - lightweight, the right amount of steam and very easy to use. Doesn’t dribble water at all.But the cable is a metre too short for practical use - I now have to use an extension lead to be able to iron.It’s over a metre shorter than the Tefal iron it replaces.

A little bit heavier than other lines, but the difference is minimum. very good tank size. Good quality built.

It does as it says.But the cable is annoyingly too short than my previous iron, so I often have to use an extension cable.

The item was shipped in an unsealed tefal box which was able to be opened by anyone who handled it. The tefal box was damaged.Shocking. I would not recommend this, I haven't tried it but hopefully it will work. Inside the contents appear to be ok.
