Did not work- cannot be programmed
If I could give no stars I would’ve! Waste of money as it cannot be programmed to my car by a licensed locksmith! Don’t live in a big town so it took me longer than the return time frame to find out it doesn’t work, so I’m out the money and no key to work!

You still have to take this to a locksmith to get programed.
Got this for my 09 Eclipse after I broke the old one fishing. It came nice and quick. and looks the same. I used the already cut portion of my old key and screwed in to the new one so I didn't have to get it cut. I programed he buttons on the remote thanks to a YouTube video however it still wouldn't start the car. I took it to a lock smith near by and they programed the key portion for $90. So all in all I have a new key for about $115. The directions that the company sent gave three websites that didn't work at all so I resorted to YouTube. Glad I have a new key that works for my car however I don't think I would order another one.

I returned one and they charged me for 2.
Not programmable. The locksmith tried four programmers ands the car would not start. I returned one key that was NOT cut, but they charged me for not returning BOTH keys. Never again.

Could not copy
Took the key to be cut for my '09 Elite. The key fit but it would not program. Took it to the dealer, they could not program it either. Wound up with a key that will only open the door. (Of course, the alarm goes off.) The dealer wanted 350.00 for a new key.

Key was too long
2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse: needed a spare key as the other one was lost. The locksmith showed me the key was 1/8" too long and he had to grind the tip of key off. He was successful at making a copy for $6. After reading all the reviews going back years it appears very few have had success getting it programmed. I was quoted $160 to program it and if the cheap fob doesnt take the programming I still pay. So I will not move forward as the risk vs reward is too great. I have a spare key to open a door for $40+. tossin good money after bad.

does NOT WORK FOR ECLIPSE AFTER 2007
will be getting a refund! thankfully locksmith didnt charge me for wasting his time cutting and programming 2 of them! only works for 3g models not eclipse 2008 or later
